Nice cozy hotel

We stayed here and everything worked out fine. They even have a pull out sofa which came in handy. I wish there was an ice machine in the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I needed an iron board and the lady at the front desk got it for me immediately. Good location too. The wi-fi worked for me with no problems at all.

I was only here for 6-7 hours. The bed was very hard, but seems to be the norm now in hotels. Everything was clean and functioned well. Had no issues and staff was very friendly. I wish the had more of a continental breakfast. It was more of a "here is a granola bar" breakfast

DO NOT STAY HERE

Two night stay. Prior to arrival had read previous reviews, but didn't think it could be as bad as depicted.
I. WAS. WRONG.
THE GOOD:
You have to ask for coffee pot, dishes and cookware, which wasn't a problem. Grab and Go breakfast is what's advertised: Muffins, packs of oatmeal, hot chocolate, coffee or a cereal bar. Air conditioner, stove, microwave and refrigerator worked well.
THE BAD:
Hotel has a large Indian population which would explain other reviews of curry smells in the halls. Found the curry smell far more enjoyable to the marijuana. Kids running in room above us until way past 11pm. Elevator worked well although its floor and walls were dirty and sticky. Cats in windows and dogs barking.
THE UGLY:
Had two rooms, had to change BOTH due to housekeeping issues and one door that did not lock. One room had dirty sheets with dried snot and a serious urine smell, other room had dirty dishes in the sink, hair on sheets and mattress pad, fleas in carpet, tub gross and nasty. Went to store and bought flea killer spray. Were going to change the sheets ourselves since we were told there was no one from hotel to do it for us until we saw the condition of the mattress pad. Front desk girl Nashley had to take me to two different rooms after to find one that was clean. She ended up putting us in what she called their 'Model Room', the one they show to questioning prospective guests. Even she said it was unacceptable and when she spoke to manager on phone with me, she told him so. Never got to see or speak to a manager personally. According to front desk, he claimed we were there 4-5 hours before we complained which is false. We checked in at 4:30 pm and even after the room searches and switches we were in borderline acceptably clean rooms by 6:30 or so. Contacted Priceline who contacted hotel and spoke to Nashaley, Priceline told them to give us a refund, manager left a message with front desk to tell us he's refusing, said we'd stayed too long before complaining and couldn't because we did it thru Priceline. Front door area had cigarette butts and trash covering the flower beds. Empty pack of marijuana wrappers and beer bottles strewn around picnic table area. Garbage cans overflowing with trash. Smells of incense, curry, cigarette and marijuana smoke in halls. I'm a smoker, and even I had to put a towel under the door to stop the smell from coming in room. Looked great from the outside as we drove up. Out of the car and into hotel was another matter. Preponderance of open windows of rooms should have been our first clue. Place is filthy. Felt so sorry for front desk girl Nashaley, very sweet, very helpful, but you could see how embarrassed she was. We left to go to Naval Bootcamp Graduation dirty and tired since no one was brave enough to shower in the tubs.
Old

Facility is very old and outdated. Not the cleanest place I've stayed either. You have to ask for dishes and coffee, etc. Price was ok and staff was very nice. There are lots of other options in the area that are much nicer.
