My family and I had to stay here after hurricane Maria and the General Manager went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The location is very close to the airport/nyc, rooms are great and they accept pets which was a huge help. Thank you to all the staff for making it a great experience for me and my family.

The staff was the best part of my visit Iris and Amanda the woman at the front desk are always ready and willing to help in anyway they can. They were willing to help anyway they could i had a issue with my rooms lamp not working and they both helped replace it quick and efficiently

like the kitchen ,,rooms are very clean , lobby is clean, they also have the shuttle to the airport which is great, good location mall across the street also restaurants close by

The only thing inviting about this property is the price.
There is no real lobby just a large hole in the wall through which you interact with the staff. They leave internal doors open so you can see, hear & smell the industrial laundry. There is a surprise parking fee of $5 per night plus tax. The walls are a yellow brown color that resembles excrement. The walls look even uglier under the yellow lights from the in-room lamps. The halls smell like smoke. The kitchenette is cheesy: a full sized ‘fridge, 2 burners & a small microwave with a cheap Formica counter. They don’t even provide knives, forks, plates etc. There is no coffee maker in the room. Not sure how you survive an “extended stay” without a coffee maker. The bed was hard & unsteady. The pillows had no give. The sheets & blankets were rumpled; not the crisp linens most people find in a hotel. There were no hangers in the closet which had two wire shelves.
The bathroom is satisfactory but the water didn’t get very hot. The exhaust was quite noisy.
Most unnerving were the metal reinforcements at the door latch. Clearly they had prior problems with theft. There are outside signs warning not to leave things in your car & inside signs announcing that the premises was under constant surveillance.
As we were leaving a staffer was walking down our hall. Some wrappers & papers were on the floor outside one door The guy walked right pass the mess without doing anything. It would have been easy to pick up the papers & throw them out.
Three good things: the blackout drapes do keep out the bright parking lot lights; there was free coffee & tea plus muffins & granola bars in the lobby on your way out the door in the morning; the airplane noise wasn’t constant.
Even though the other properties at this location are about $50 more per night or more, the increased cost is probably worth it.

Well, it took 10minutes to get checked in. They didn’t stock the room with eating utensil at all. I told them I’d be back in a couple minutes to pick them up. They did not have them ready. They said, they’d bring them up in 15 minutes. It’s been 2.5 hours and I’m getting hungry.
The furniture has its veneer rubbed off in many places but the room looks clean.
I’ll rate this place again once I’ve checked out.
