Great location--near several shopping centers with Marshall's, Best Buy, Target, Nordstrom Rack, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Dunkin Donuts, etc. etc.). CVS right around the corner. Easy to go east or west on nearby E. Camelback to other areas, including Scottsdale, and not far from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen very functional (though I did not use it). Good sized refrigerator (not a mini). The only shortcoming was the "breakfast"--granola bars, packaged mini-muffins that were tasteless, and packaged oatmeal (plus coffee). Plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.

We chose this hotel due to the location and price.
The room did not have a stale odor and the bathroom was clean but the carpeting was extremely marked up & stained - it looked dirty and made me uneasy to even walk on it. The telephone in the room did not work and looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time when I picked up the handset.
Very disappointing and would not recommend this hotel. Again, you get what you pay for...

By far the most disgusting hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The service is non existent, the rooms are poorly kept, and worst of all, they have bed bugs! Even after showing the front desk associate video of bed bugs crawling all over the bedding and pillows, he just said "ok" as if this happens all the time there - and I'm sure it does. Do not ever stay at this garbage dump.

Check in was clumsy and slow. First he took a photo copy of my drivers license, to hold for 3 months. This is a privately owned hotel and they do not have the security that a corporate owned hotel does. Am very concerned about identity theft. Then the clerk had to check to see if our room was ready. When he came back, he spoke to the maintenance man and gave him duties. Then he filled the printer and finally completed our check in.
When we arrived at our room, the toilet was running and the seat was wet. I jiggle the handle thinking it wasn't working properly, but we never had that problem the rest of the weekend. I not think he had used our bathroom when he checked to see if it was clean. Totally grossed out by this.
Tried to turn on the wall lamp, and it fell off the wall. No maid service, the entire weekend. The hotel ran out of bathroom wash cloths by Sunday night and gave me kitchen cloths to use instead. Large spot of mold on the bathroom ceiling.
Continental breakfast consisted of granola bar in a basket. No coffee pot in room.
We locked ourselves out one night and clerk gave us a replacement key without checking our ID's to confirm the room actually belonged to us.
We will not stay at this hotel again.

I have had the pleasure to stay with Extended Stay America - Biltmore in Phoenix AZ, for more than twelve months. In my 50 years of business travel I have never had better, friendlier or more attentive and personalized service than with this extraordinary hotel. As with any business, it is the people who make all the difference, and my experience with ESA personnel, at every level, has been beyond excellent. I have been treated like family from the very first day. Thank you.
