What People are saying
Worst. Hotel. Ever.

When I arrived, although everything was in order, when I climbed into bed, the linens smelled like cig smoke. I caught athlete's foot from the tub. I requested to speak to the supervisor, twice, and they called the cops on me, and made up a story that I threatened to burn the place down. Nothing worked. Both sinks were leaking, a light bulb needed to be replaced twice, which still hasn't been done, since I'm leary about having the maintenance guy come down since he got fresh with me the last time. I stated that I would like to be present in my room while the maid cleans, to make sure everything is exchanged properly, since another time, at that place, I climbed into bed, and my, "newly," changed sheets smelled like body odor and cheap men's cologne. When I told the maid that I wanted to be present when she cleaned my room, she threw a fit, and threw a blanket across the room into the kitchen sink, almost knocking over a sentimental coffee mug I had. The cops and fire dept. are there more often than the pizza delivery guy. If you're a drug dealer, illegal immigrant, or riff raff, you'll get along just fine. I tried calling their corporate number to file a complaint and to get my room cleaned, but all I got was the reservation hotline and people whom I could barely understand their English. A few years ago, I also stated at the Extended Stay on McKnight Rd., when I was homeless, sleeping in a storage unit, and my boyfriend offered to pay for my hotel there for three weeks. After one week, I told him I'd rather sleep in my storage unit, since I couldn't see him wasting $300.00/week on that place, and I did. It's really a horrible place. I told the front desk several times that I was going to log a complaint on TripAdvisor, but they just shrug their shoulders and laugh. I could never get a hold of an actual supervisor. Their coffee is lousy, there's no ice machine. Do yourself a favor and save some stress....stay at the Motel 6. I'm not a gambler, but I'll get a dollar that the linens are at least clean and you won't catch athlete's foot from the tub. I'm 53, and I've traveled all over the world, and this is the worst hotel ever. The entire chain is.

I arrived at this establishment after a 16 hour journey.
The check-in desk was in total darkness. After a few moments a clerk appeared, but failed to turn on the check-in desk lights, the attitude was surly, off-hand and very unwelcoming. She demanded a credit card, after some grunting, I was given a room key.
Arriving at the room, it was clearly occupied, now very tired and needing sleep I returned to the check-in and reported that the room was occupied.
"Are you sure" was the response, yes I'm sure, check if you want.
The clerk didn't want, she then proceeded to stare at the screen and made some unusual noises.
I contacted my American host, who after some discussion, suggested I keep in contact with him.
Not sure why her attitude descended into one of belligerence, but she decided she was going to call the police, go ahead, I had done nothing wrong, I asked her for an alternate room, there were none, I asked her to contact her general manager, "he's not coming down", I asked for transport to an alternate hotel, "we're not obliged to do that". I asked her to contact the Holiday Inn across the road, she did that, but then the grunting started and then she decided, she should call the police.
Subsequently I have received 2 nights paid for in an alternate hotel, scant compensation, however, the damage done to the hotel brand is immeasurable and I will recommend openly on social media that jail is a better alternative to this hotel brand, I will also lodge a formal complaint with our corporate travel agent so that no more of my colleagues are subjected to this kind of behaviour from this hotel brand's employees. Not sure this hotel brand knows the meaning of the words "Customer Service" I don't even want to mark you 1 star, you don't deserve it!
Waste of money

Room booked DID NOT EVEN EXIST IN THE BUILDING, and that is per the front desk person's admittance.
Had to fit my family on two double beds as opposed to WHAT I PAID FOR!
The carry out breakfast was oatmeal in a cup.
That's it.
Are you joking?
Terrible location, with many shady people hanging out in lobby area at all hours of the day and night.
Don't do it!
Won't Do It Again.........

The overall perspective of this hotel was 1.5 steps above a truck stop; the lobby smelled like mildew, as did my room; there was not one utensil, glass or piece of cookware for me to use. When I left my room, I purposely left the television on and turned off all of the lamps for safety reasons. When I came back to the room [a few hours later], my key was deactivated--after getting my key reactivated by an employee who acted as if I was bothering her with my inquiry, I returned to my room to find all lights on and the television off; the plumbing in the bathroom was subpar and I had to ask for towels to be placed in my room the next day. I will never stay at this facility again and definitely overpaid for the value that was received.
