This hotel changed our type of room 10 minutes before we checked in. The furniture was dirty and stained. No coffee pot or cups for coffee. No cable TV. Internet did not work. Elevator smelled of road tar and oil. This was our first visit to Extended Stay America and our last.

The hotel was pretty clean, the bed pretty comfortable, the water was hot, but the toilet didn't flush and they appeared to be somewhat understaffed, although they did have a help wanted sign posted. I also appreciate that the heating/cooling unit came with a fan on setting. The breakfast was prepackaged muffins or granola bars, and the coffee was gone and the hot water cold by the time I got down there.

Worst stay at a hotel this year! Would not recommend to anyone and will avoid staying again. The hotel charges a costly rate, but does not provide quality in cleanliness, amenities, and overall hotel atmosphere.

I traveled to Rochester last weekend on a business trip and this hotel was reserved for us by the convention we were attending. There was a mix up with the convention about the third party form that needed to be signed for check in. The staff (Julie in particular) was exceptionally accommodating and helpful in getting the situation taken care of with very little stress to us! Additionally, they continuously went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and always had a smile.
We would stay here again 100% just for the staff alone!

Get over the small bed and the breakfast, very good. Off the main drag, in a quiet location. Clean with a comfortable bed and as usual a nice setup. Good reception and a good stay. Within minutes drive of lots of eateries or a short walk to a good bar/eateries. Would recommend.
