We stayed in room 57 which was up 2 flights and the lift was broken. Not an issue so much but the room itself was anything but 4* luxury. It had dated decor, damp patches on wall, and ripped furniture. Resembled the decor of a nursing home! When we mentioned to reception they just said that they were in the process of upgrading all the rooms. Whilst they are I don't think they should be advertising these rooms as luxury. Even the bedding was poor quality and thin. We ate in the restaurant which was nice but the staff could maybe have been a bit more attentive. We ordered wine and just had it dumped on our table with the lid on. Breakfast was nice with a good choice and the restaurant decor was ok despite the place being pretty quiet and lacking much atmosphere. Nice location but wouldn't rush back and have stayed in far nicer 4* hotels.

Was looking forward to this visit after booking a deal online , reception wasn’t friendly or helpful at all , didn’t even direct us to room or ask us if we wanted help with luggage .
Part of the booking included dinner which was poor in selection and quality . 3 times of asking to even get drink right . Deal supposed to include prosecco on arrival which also never happened . This hotel has been a serious let down .

Had a lovely night at the hotel. Our room was great, the food (dinner and breakfast) was spot on and the staff where all lovely. Our waitress was particularly great. We will definitely be back. The hotel is right on the beach.

Can't fault this place stayed before and looking to book to go back February/March time. Room was lovely, dinner and breakfast both excellent. Staff all very efficient, helpful and friendly. Handy for shops, pubs etc too.

Just returned from the Fairfield House Hotel where we stayed in the newly re-furbished room 7. Great room with sea view. Bathroom facilities were fabulous. Food in restaurant was very nice and staff very attentive and friendly. Look forward to making a return visit.
