Traveling to Anchorage for an State sports tournament and we stayed here. Good for what we need. Staff was nice and the rooms are pretty clean. If I was traveling for pleasure this wouldn't be my choice but it works perfect for what we are doing.

My experience was great from the very beginning. I used their free airport shuttle to get from Ted Stevens Intl Airport to the hotel. They were very friendly and I had a speedy check-in which was great after a long day of traveling. My room was clean and the continental breakfast was a great start to my day!

If I had wanted to stay at a Motel 6, I wouldn't have used 30000 good Marriott points on this place. This is the most over rated place I have stayed since Kowloon District in Hong Kong which is some of the priciest real estate in the World. Obviously the owners assigned it a 6 star rating because I have stayed at 6 star Marriots around the World and the tiny room they gave me wasn't much larger than my bathroom at home. The only reason I would even give it a 1.5 star rating was because breakfast was decent. This place is a sad reflection on the Marriott chain

This is a first place which if downtown I would give 5 stars. The name of the area is "midtown" but it is NOT near downtown Anchorage. In sprawling Anchorage it is in the middle of town but really it is away from the areas tourists such as my wife and myself.
Staff is first rate. Not far from airport. Very helpful, accommodating people around to help.Good breakfast.

The hotel staff and office manager Meghan are some of the friendliest, caring and professional staff I've encountered. When I left a personal item of value, not only was it immediately turned in and secured, but Meghan was kind and detailed in providing support for its return. Staying at this hotel is like staying with friends you trust. Thank you Fairfield Inn Anchorage staff, and especially Meghan.
