The Fairfield is in what can basically be called a hotel ghetto close to Midway Airport with multiple buildings randomly laid out on a huge plot of land. The hotel, like most Marriott properties, is very clean and comfortable. Having said that, the pricing for this hotel, like most in the area, is far above what they would normally draw in a different setting. The hotel is beginning to show its age in terms of room furnishings and decor.

This hotel is very close to Midway Airport. Great place to stay for an early flight or late arrival. Very quiet hotel. We were on the 5th floor. Staff was very friendly and efficient. There is a TGIF just across the entrance and within easy walking distance. This hotel is in a hotel grouping but was the cheapest of the group. Had free wifi and a great breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and the rates change constantly. I understand its supply/demand/day/time/month. I get that it's a business thing, but it is a frustrating thing for the consumer. I know that it's not just your hotel.
The receptionists I have met have all been very nice. They charge parking, but there is no security, it's like a big open Walmart parking lot. On occasion I have asked that the parking charge be waved. A couple times my request was granted. Travelers, always ask, always negotiate. There are several hotels next to this one. I will continue to choose this Fairfield.

I have spent a large portion of the last 4 months traveling so to me it's the little things that make all the difference. I have stayed at several different hotels in the Midway complex and as far as the room and amenities go, they are about equal. The thing that sets the Fairfield leaps and bounds above the rest are the staff. I can't say enough about Sedina, the GM. She goes out of her way to greet me with a smile. She always knew how to add just the right touch when needed (like that water bottle). Her and her staff make my time away from home a little easier. I used the gym daily (mostly had it to myself) and enjoyed the awesome breakfast every morning. There are several restaurants within walking distance too. Can't say enough; you guys rock!

We stayed at Fairfield during the Riot Fest. It was very easy to get to Chicago and to the festival. The rooms were cleans and spacious. We used the fitness room and the pool. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices for every one. The hostess kept with the demand, even though the hotel was full. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you all for making our trip a great one. will stay again.
