Seemed to be an older place. Doesn’t seem to quite as good as most Fairfield’s I’ve been in but still wasn’t a bad stay. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. I would probably stay here again.

We stopped here due to the location near the Ohio State Reformatory which we were visiting. The hotel offers the normal amenities at a decent price.
The good:
Friendly staff. The desk person who checked us in was nice and professional. It was very quick and easy to get our room assignment and key.
Swimming pool. We did not use it but it is available and the area looked clean. It was also open 6am-midnight which is a larger window that normal.
Fitness center. I used this and the elliptical was well maintained and worked smoothly. The two treadmills also looked newer and in good condition. There was also an adjustable weight bench with an assortment of dumb bells. There was a television with cable and a great picture and nice volume. A water cooler/cups and towels were also available.
The room: Nicely laid out. A king size bed with TV and also a large couch with a second TV. Never saw two TVs in one room. It was clean and cool even on a 98 degree day. The bathroom was normal but was clean and the water pressure was good.
Breakfast: Included; bacon, eggs, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, bread/muffins, coffee and juice. It was a Saturday so it was open 7am-10am. The area was clean and had ample seating. The lady working the breakfast area was constantly checking food levels and re-filling. The bacon (normal and Canadian) was well cooked and the eggs were firm and not watery. There were small wait times for getting food but it was good quality and was happy. USA Today was available for free.
Parking. Ample and well lit. Also a covered area for checking in and unloading if it was raining.
Guest laundry. We didn't use this but seemed a great idea. If needed I'm sure would be very welcome to have it.
The bad:
Not much. It was a good stay.
Room: We had either a horse or inconsiderate person above us stomping around until after 1am (luckily we were up late anyway). But it was noisy. I am not sure whether it was the person or the lack of sound proofing on the ceiling. But I would give it the benefit of the doubt.
Cleaning service: The room was clean and well presented. The downside was that we were relaxing on a Saturday morning after a late night and heard a lot of noise in the hallway. I finally got up and looked and it was two employees doing maid service and talking and laughing very loudly. It was bad enough that we just got up and decided to check out.
Avoid at all costs

So I am stuck here for business for 5 weeks, and I think the old Mansfield prison that was shot during the movie Green Mile would be a preferable location. Rooms had an odd odor, staff is very bad, breakfast is pulled exactly at 930, if you a few minutes late they act like you are trying to steal from them. Came back from my overnight shift and my door was propped open and there wasn't any maid cart on the floor. I went down to the desk and they said they would look into it. My roomate went down the next day and they said that was the first they heard about it. They also lied about giving reward points for the stay. The country Inn is a much better choice, Marriot is becoming the new Choice hotel chain.
Excellent hotel for an extended stay

Stayed with a friend from a Monday nite to a friday morning. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. I have dietary restrictions and I was able to get Gluten free items for bfst. The selections on the bfst bar were excellent. Many choices and all looking fresh . My friend had a different bfst everyday. She also liked the indoor pool and the exercise room. Internet access was fine and tv also. Because of storms in the area the signal was lost once but that can happen at home also. My only complaint and it's minor, concerns the reception desk. On occasion there was no one there and you had to wait for someone to come to wait on you. Room in back of desk needs a window so staff can see if someone needs help.
