We reviewed this hotel before hand and knew there was noise from the train so we requested a room an the opposite end of the hotel. Little did we know the traffic noice would be worse than train noise as there is a stop light right beside. Should have known by the sign in the room that offered ear plugs or white noise devices. Booking service was ok however when checking out we were charged a higher price than we booked at. At check out we were told that room rates vary through out the day.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and the staff is great. I requested extra towels and an extra blanket prior to arrival, and they were waiting on us when we arrived to our room. Breakfast is fine, nothing special. If you dislike trains and train horns, bear in mind this is right next to a crossing and can be rather loud.

I have to say, this is the best place to stay in Lima. Wonderful staff, clean rooms and very helpful.
I have a child enrolled at UNOH (the university). So it's been multiple trips out there so far, with many more coming. I have stayed at a lot of places out there but the Fairfield is tops so far!
The hotel is located right next to the campus, but getting in and out is a bit of a challenge. Plenty of places to eat and drink close to hotel. It sits right next to active train tracks and a major highway, the noise was acceptable for me.
What makes this hotel stand out is it's staff. After a 550+ mile drive I checked in, and they offered to take my bag to room. Want to take a dip in the pool? The staff was there with a towel. Get up early like me? Coffee was ready at 6 AM. Free breakfast was more than acceptable, real food cooked fresh.
For those that don't deal well with noise, ask for a room in the middle of the hotel. I requested a room close to the street side, as I like to sneak out for a smoke. No problem sleeping.
Booking next trip, and will update review.

Several relatives and myself were in town for a family reunion and we stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites on Saturday night. The front desk staff was great, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Best of all was the coffee and full breakfast on Sunday morning! I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a nice spot to spend the night. It is up to date in its furnishings and everything is in good repair. It is also clean. The hotel is quiet and the windows could be blocked out, so we slept well. Most appreciated was the fresh fruit at breakfast. Apples and bananas were available. Some other fruits were also there, such as watermelon, grapes, and some other melon. The melons appeared to be freshly cut and not from a pre-cut packaged fruit. We really liked this because getting fresh fruits and vegetables while travelling interstate highways can be a challenge. Finally, the staff were polite and friendly.
