Excellent Stay

We stayed 2 nights after a stop in Philadelphia and enjoyed the hospitality go Rick and Laura the innkeepers. The Inn offered a great location and we were able to visit the Brandywine River Museum as well as the du Pont estate Winterthur. Rick offered some nice dinner ideas. We stayed in the Carriage House Room 3, which had a welcome gas fireplace and canopy bed. Breakfast was warm and delicious. We will try to return if back this way.
Milestone Weekend

Just returned from a fabulous milestone birthday celebration weekend at the Fairville Inn. Innkeepers Rick and Laura along with their wonderful staff made the last few days truly memorable. Ricks' breakfasts and afternoon tea were delicious.Laura's restaurant recommendations were spot on(she also made all of our dinner reservations for us before we arrived). My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House room 4 which was delightful-bright, airy, comfortable and cozy with an amazing view of the meadow from our outside deck.Certainly will be back for our third visit!
Lovely Inn close to Longwood, museums and points of interest

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. Fairville Inn is a mile from the Delaware border and close to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, Hagley Museum, Brandywine Art Museum and several other places of interest. Shopping in Kennett Square is also close by. Lots of great restaurants to choose from in the area. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea are served each day at the Inn. Our Springhouse room was quite large and the gas fireplace made it so cozy.
Perfect place to stay near to Longwood Gardens and other PA attractions!

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with a visit to the Fairville Inn. We enjoyed every part of our visit and the warm hospitality of Rick and Laura (our hosts). We loved the Carriage House room...with the luxurious sheets and comfy coverlet. We loved the delicious breakfast and super friendly service (our server is taking a gap year from college to grad school...and was a delight to see each morning :-). We loved the location, just minutes from Longwood Gardens and close to other rustic and fun attractions. We loved everything! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration!! Perfect for a local getaway babymoon

We really enjoyed Suite 2 in the Carriage House out back. The room is very large with a king-size four-post bed that was perfect for those who enjoy a firm bed when they're away from home. And for those who also need a quality shower in the morning, the water pressure was great, not lacking in quality like in many hotels leaving you and your hair wanting for the rest of the day.
The fireplace was perfect to cozy up to in the quaint little living room while watching some TV at night.
We enjoyed being able to drive a very short distance to the very popular local tavern 'Buckley's' in Centerville, Delaware for dinner and the ease of checking in late. The innkeepers are very nice and personable. And Oz was a pleasure to meet in the morning after an amazing breakfast with EXCELLENT service by the young staff : )
We only stayed the night but our 'babymoon' was an absolute treat and delight away from home : )
We've officially made the Fairville Inn our go-to getaway spot! : )
