The hotel is wonderful for families with children. There are animals right at the hotel including rabbits, goats and ponies. The children program covers the complete day if you want to be alone or participate in the activities. Ponny riding can be arranged and is really great. We walked for an hour with the Pony Sofie that was very nice also for beginners. The playroom (three rooms in fact) is well equipped and really fun. Don't forget to make a walk in the nearby areas, wonderful views. The kitchen is great and offers a wide variety of local products. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The price especially when you come from Switzerland is very attractive.

In a good location with nice rooms, but the bathroom was small. The staff looked after us well. We had dinner in the hotel which was good. Very peaceful location with good walks nearby. Substantial breakfast.

A very friendly, warm, family hotel. The bedrooms are spacious and modern in design, with good views from the balconies.The staff are very helpful, especially the staff in reception. Obsteig is a very quiet village, but with good transport links to Innsbruck. There is also the ski bus which takes you to Seefeld in the morning and back in the afternoon, it is free.For visits to closer places the reception staff can normally sort out something. There are a variety of excursions available from horse wagon rides to lantern lit walks through the woods and meadows at night. The food is Tyrolean/European and the portions are generous. For snacks and other items the is a Spar store on the other side of the road. The area is very good for walks, with very well signposted paths of all grades. I look forward to returning.

The hotel offers everything you need for a wonderful and sustainable holiday, the managers are the nicest we have ever met, we felt really good, we look forward to going back for another holiday there!!

Stayed here for a week - a good place to appreciate the quiet surroundings and beautiful scenery when doing a walk along the many paths available. We did several of the organised events and we enjoyed the opportunity to do a lantern walk , 2 trips to Innsbruck with free bus pass and a day out in Seefeld with a walk around Wildsee. We did a great wildlife walk with the tourist office . It is the peace and quiet that is very noticeable. We had a lovely room on the 4th floor with a private balcony and great views over the village and to the snow covered mountains beyond. Hotel also helped us to organise a trip to Stams Abbey with a guided tour which was excellent.
Food was good with a very good choice at breakfast and good variety of evening meals.
