Stay only in this room if you dont get booking anywhere in Chail. its better to sleep in Car then this hotel. Few highlights: Broken Chairs, Bad Paint, Mosquitos / Cockraches / lizards are some guest in the rooms . Food quality is also just like rooms. Waiters are un-trained and no amenities . Dont go by name or anything else. Stayed with family for one day but regret that decision. Even in 1000 rs this is a bad deal. Just book and go at your own risk

I went there in May'2017. I got the room number 201 and 202. Both the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The best things about rooms is valley view from balcony. The food they served is really superb and great staff ready to do almost everything on request.

We booked a room for 2 days and we quite liked it. Most rooms face the hills which means you get an amazing view. And you can enjoy it from spacious balconies. Make sure you drink your coffee/ tea there.
Rooms are equipped with necessary amenities like enough power plug points, lamps by the beds, pair of chairs with a centre table, study desk and chair, mirror & table, TV & cabinet. They have wi-fi but we didnt use it. The washrooms are clean, big and the one we stayed has a separated shower section. The balcony has a pair of chairs and table and a few plants. Nice!
There are sitting arrangements outside at the lawn which also has a nice view. Mornings and evenings are great there.
Also lobby has a TT table, pool table and a caromboard. The restaurant has a decent buffet. Food is good but not great. Staff is nice. These are good and simple people. Be patient with them. If you need something, they will do their best to do it for you. So respect them for who they are and dont expect 5-star level well trained service.
The price looked alright. 3k per night + taxes (thanks to GST!!)

I stayed there with my friends in summers of 2017 and found this place amazing. The valley view rooms are awesome, however we have booked cottages which we too awesome. They also arrange bone-fire in the evening. Very beautiful place to stay and chill out.

To explain. Location of the property is awesome. You have a great view from your rooms to the valley and mountains. We booked four rooms so we got rooms on the ground floor with a kind of private lawn. Lawn had table and chairs to sit and relax and enjoy the picturesque view of the mountains. It is also very close Kali temple which is a must visit place when you are in Chail.
Service was very good. We were eight people with 3 toddlers. Food was served on time and ad-hoc requests for milk, tea, snacks were equally fast. I also ordered a cake when we reached there and it was delivered on time in the evening. Cake was also good.
Food quality was very good. Limited menu in lunch but all non-veg and veg items were equally delicious. Full menu was served in dinner again with same quality. We had breakfast buffet included in our booking and breakfast was also delicious.
Only thing where I would suggest the improvement is maintenance of the property. It looks old from outside. Stray hill dogs came to our lawn quite often. There was a big cockroach in my bathroom. A cat entered in one of the room from open vent in the bathroom. It did not bother us much because we did not spend much time in the room except for the night but can be a showstopper for anyone.
Overall excellent place to stay if you want to enjoy the nature and relax with friends and family.
