Very dated, dubios taste in decor, stained carpet & furniture. Unsafe electricals with trailing extension leads and socket multipliers. Bathroom was located in a converted conservatory with shuttered windows, sadly for a ground floor bathroom shutter slats were missing meaning anyone can look in from outside. Since when has electricity & water mixed? They do here, an electric heater was plugged in to a trailing lead in the middle of the bathroom!!! Shower was falling off the wall. The hotels approach to hospitality is disappointingly flawed; constructive feedback aimed at improving their business was met with disinterest. Avoid.

I would not stay again, room had rubbish left in it and a funny smell and the decor is very tired and I needed to run the shower for 10mins till hot water came and was very expensive for what you get....Never again £89 plus £12.95 for breakfast

Spending 2 nights here and am really pissed off with the thought !
23.10 and I can still hear the staff outside my room . I am sure there are a few guests as well.
Room 1. I have been outside once to ask them to quieten down but they are still going strong .
How is anybody supposed to rest in this room ?
Not impressed at all. I would suggest anybody offerred this room turn it down with in an instant.

Stayed here overnight as we had a wedding to attend locally. We were a little irritated by having to pay to check in before 2pm - in my mind, if the room is ready this should be offered as a convenience. Also they didn't want us to leave our luggage. Husband had paid a bit more for a larger room and the room was very large but probably in need of updating (lots of sockets but provided by extension leads for example) - nice double shower which was appreciated. Based on reviews we didn't book the breakfast and for £12.50 you would expect excellence. To sum up, a quirky hotel that we didn't stay long enough to give much more than a basic insight but served the purpose for an overnight stay.

Room needs a bit of TLC, although it was clean. Hotel owners were friendly, however, they were prepared to charge us £10.00 to get into the room early for the races. Never had this before and thought it was very cheeky. The breakfast is pricey at £12.00, we went into town and didn't add this to our bill. Overall, would not return.
