They were unwilling to help change the date of the reservation after we realized we had booked the wrong date. Hotel.com does not state that the reservation was unchangeable but the hotel would not work with them or us to move our date up a day. I can not state the quality of the hotel.

The shower was dripping
The pool was unavailable and you had to ask the staff to open the garden(we are smokers) but they didn t have any problem with people who were smoking at the windows....
Price is ok,location ok but the hotel could use a renovation!!! A big one.

We were there while attending the Mugello Motogp race week end. The hotel is acceptable, the swimming pool wasn't really clean, the waiters were really friendly and helpful. It wasn't the best choice for the race week end as we took more than two hours to get into the race track on Sunday morning, at 6 am! Overall, a nice hotel next to the motorway exit, useful if you are on a long trip.

The only positive point was the bed that was very comfortable apart from that the hotel need renovation, including the space around swimming pool ! Some staff members were also very rude! On the last day I left my wallet in he room and someone enter in it between 20h and 22h and stole the money from my wallet! If you are going there please be careful and take it always with you!

Ok hotel - perhaps built '70's/80's has been through a facelift or two.... on the cheap- the tiles in our bathroom had been painted-over but now peeling in places, crack in shower tray, hairline crack in washbasin, towel rail only just hanging onto the wall. Breakfast - nothing to get out of bed for, amongst the offerings: a tray of Basic Brand yoghurt (not appealing), diluted concentrate fruit 'juice' (think Ace from Lidel) serve yourself coffee machines & hideous table decoration. On the PLUS side - despite reviews I had read here on TA-
1) the staff were perfectly charming & helpful: booked us a cab, served us poolside (coffee in the morning & Amaretto late in the evening) & kindly placed anti mosquito candles around & about to protect us
2) the pool was spotlessly clean 😀
This hotel MIGHT be a good option if you need to be near the airport....... sadly it is NOT a good option if you wish to be in Florence proper - the no: 2 bus - just 150m frm hotel- has 4 buses an hour only costs €2 BUT took us 55 mins ( hotel told us 20mins on a good day- which may well be 24th Dec!!!)
Unfortunately at 10:30pm we were told bus no longer runs- return to hotel cost us €35 by cab. Return to Florence centre next day cost €55 !!!!
We decided- £ better spent on accommodation actually IN Florence.
