Stephen Non 25/10/2016 18:13Clean room. Good shower. Plenty of coffee at breakfast. Very close to train station ( 5 minute walk max.) on the quiet side of the tracks.
Not the town center side. Gardens and Park close to the front door if you fancy a stroll.
A great place to stay
Oren Kon 29/10/2015 00:01I stay in Focus Hotel every second year during the "Busworld Kortrijk" fair.
I use a twin bedroom apartment in the hostel, a minute walk from the hotel's main entrance.
Rooms are always clean and ready, each one of them with different colours and schemes.
As a family and independent hotel, the owners are always ready to pick your call when ever needed. Breakfast is great too, and the dinning room serves also as a small concert hall.
The hotel is located within 3 minute walk from the train station, which you can always cross to the main bus station. It takes 20 minutes by foot to the fair grounds, and there is always a choice of taxi services listed in the hotel or the regular bus also on the next street.
Ad a great budget price to all these positive values, and you have a great choice.
I ALWAYS BOOK MY ROOM 2 YEARS IN ADVANCE WHEN I CHECK OUT.

We had booked the hostel but were upgraded to the hotel at no extra charge as they had a large young group staying and didn't want us to be disturbed.

Great advice from Kimmy, she had great local knowledge and a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was superb, with a hot griddle for bacon and eggs, plus excellent quality continental spread. The hotel truly was the "monkeys chunkees!" A top find. Thank you. Book directly with hotel for best deals.
Music and Modern
jazzyalanon 23/12/2014 17:16We performed a concert for Respiro Del Arte in this fine small hotel. Then we spent the night before having to catch a flight to Vienna. I wish we had more time as the staff is friendly and helpful, the amenities modern yet cozy and the Kortrijk appears to be very interesting but unfortunately we had little time to explore. Thanks for taking such good care of us for a day on our hectic tour schedule!
