We spent an enjoyable few days at this very well located bed and breakfast...close to Southampton without being in the city, walking distance to a very good bistro and several pubs, a few minutes in the car to any number of New Forest attractions...but, did I mention the breakfasts? Delicious.

I stayed here with my partner for a weekend in the New Forest. What a lovely little gem this place is. First of all, the proprietors are very friendly, knowledgeable and keen to help. The room was spacious, clean and had lots of little extras (like pads to take off your make-up - blokes wouldn't understand), and free wi-fi. The beds (we had two in our room, both doubles), were really comfy, even though he wouldn't get into his own bed. The shower was powerful, and there were plenty of toiletries. But on top of that, they served a lovely breakfast with a wide choice, and it was obviously home-cooked (beautifully by the way). Within walking distance are two lovely pubs if you fancy an evening meal without driving. I would highly recommend. P.S. Sorry for being 2 hours late to checkout :-)

Came with my boyfriend for the weekend and because of late planing, I only found this accommodation. Nice location close to forest and village (lots of amenities and pubs nearby, good environment). We had room number 5, double bed. Wide option of breakfast choice. Friendly hostesses. A little too expensive for the general, but still acceptable.

Just an overnight stay after a business meeting and then collecting nephew from University. Lovely helpful welcome, room very clean. Location great for dinner without having to drive and a nice breakfast in the morning all for a very reasonable price.

This is THE place to stay if you're visiting the New Forest. Val provides a home like environment with a touch of elegance. We stayed for four nights in a beautiful room with view of the garden. There are tea makings in the room, an efficient bathroom and shower and plenty of storage for your clothes. Val provides a varied breakfast menu she and her husband cook to order. She's charming and informative. She's been doing this for twenty years and truly knows how to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable - without being intrusive. It's a quick walk to restaurants, some better than others. The value is extraordinary!!
