Hotel Fort Munnar is a beautiful place to stay.
Building architecture reflects the name of the Hotel, Located at a great height in the nearby location providing a great scenery of the Valley.
you would be in love with this hotel as soon as you enter it. They serve a perfect blended tea at your welcome, which makes you forget your all tiredness of the travell
I would recommend this hotel because it has a great view of the valley, as compared to other hotels in the same area.
moreover the restaurant in the hotel serves a mouth watering dishes with a great taste.
this hotel also have a great indoor activity zone.
Rooms are very spacious, This hotel only lacks the balcony in the rooms, else this property would have been a five star.
In all respect this hotel is complete value for the money

A perfect gateway with family far off from Munnar town located amidst scenic beauty adds to the charm. We stayed here in valley view room for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay. Travellers with kids would love this place as the hotel has a jungle themed park with basic rides for kids to enjoy. In the evenings you can shake your legs at the discotheque & get warmed up. The hotel also has a games room, where the available facilities needs improvement. We also had one alacarte dinner which was quite satisfying to us being vegetarians. The buffet breakfast had quite a few options which was OK. The property is well maintained and rooms where clean. One thing that needs improvement is on account of better Wi-Fi connection as this is only available at the reception area and not in rooms. Rest is fine.
Those who want to enjoy nature go for this location.

This hotel is located about 15-20kms outside the main town of Munnar. The town is absolutely picturesque, nestled amongst hills and tea plantations.
Booked a room with a view of the valley. We reached late in the night so did not get to see much, but early morning opening the windows the whole valley was covered in mist which on clearing gave a breathtaking view of the valley below.
The staff were are all polite and room was nice and spacious. Ordered room service which arrived promptly without much wait. Missed out on the Buffett breakfast but overall food was nice.
Great place to stay...

I chose the hotel as it was located in a scenic spot with a magnificent view of the anaiyirankal lake. The rooms facing valley are the best and play area was good to engage my kids. We visited the tourist spots which is usually crowded. We went at 11 am for boating and were given option to book for 2 pm ride. Suggest visiting during weekdays when it is less crowded. Tea museum gave some good insight on the history of tea and benefits of tea. Elephant ride was okay again too crowded. We had a elephant encounter enroute to hotel near anaiirankal. Final day, We had to take the morning flight from madurai and hence started early hours from hotel. They were courteous to pack us some fruits, muffin and sandwiches. Drive back was adventurous as driver was wary of elephants enroute. We were lucky or not so lucky to spot one. The weather was amazing in Munnar and wish we reach again during a less crowded occasion to enjoy this nature beauty...
