The hotel is overpriced in terms of the amenities that you receive. It is in close vicinity to Chennai central and Egmore railway station/local. The breafast they serve is a good spread, but you have to keep reminding staff to bring the food you ordered which is not in buffet.
Room service is good, exorbitant. Food served to your room will mostly be cold. So watch out for what you order.
There are food joints down the street and you have several options.
Well connected through bus/local train/cabs.

Pros:
1. So close to the Egmore railway station.
2. Reasonable tariff.
3. Large lobby, big restaurant seating ideal for groups.
4. Great view, if you get a north facing room.
Cons:
The staff never once smiled, looking at me in the eyes! They squabbled amongst themselves, utterly unprofessional. Food too was not so great. And the very short walk to the station was horrible, with stinking urinals and homeless people in between.

The internet in my room was very flaky. Every time I complained, they said an IT guy is coming, but he would never turn up. It was a business trip and I would have appreciated a decent internet connection.
They had a functioning gym but the ventilation in the room was non-existent. It was almost like they do not want guests to use it.
Rest all was great! Courteous staff. Great and not very expensive food. Excellent breakfast! If you do not need internet and gym this is a great place to stay!

Location of the hotel is quite near for railway and bus station which help in going to numerous places.
Had a bad experience in checking in due to some confusion between my travel agent and the hotel database or else stay was good.

Good place to choose... Service is little slow otherwise everything is ok.. Good at quality and the kind of breakfast they provide is really nice, quite impressed. Very near to railway station hence there is slight problem with noises around.
