Excellent quality hotel in a convenient location
dreamynapperon 14/11/2017 03:03Overall we had a great stay at this hotel conveniently located right off the highway. Though there weren't a lot of stores or restaurants nearby, it was only a short drive to the quaint Cambridge downtown area. The lobby looked quite posh; the pool looked small, but nice; the staff there were very friendly - both check-in in the afternoon and check out in the morning was super speedy for us since there were two people at the desk. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern; the room's temperature was comfortable, though we could hear when the heat came on in the middle of the night, probably since it was so quiet! The bathroom was also very clean, unexpectedly large, and had excellent water pressure. The bed and pillows were comfy, though I do wish mattress was a bit softer, but good for those who prefer firmer mattresses. This hotel is an excellent value that certainly exceed our expectations for its star rating! I would definitely recommend this hotel as a fantastic place to stay for a few nights!
Good dinner but bad service
bobster30on 11/11/2017 23:33The first night I arrived, they did not have hot water in the hotel. When I asked the front desk if the hot water was back the second day, the reply was quite rude, being "I don't know, I only just got here". And there was no apology for the hot water issue at all. Continental breakfast buffet was poor, unless you ask for hot meal. But dinner was surprisingly good. The have a good selection and serves good portion. The taste was good and the price was reasonable. I think that was sthe only upside of this hotel. I also think the pillows are too soft....

Check in and out was quick. And except for one wedding attendee was very quiet. We were not there for a wedding.

Chaunsyon 16/10/2017 19:37I can't believe we lucked out with this great hotel as we decided to stay overnight in the area instead of heading home and spotted this hotel from the 401. I liked it from the moment I walked into the foyer. ; large and well appointed . I love the red leather benches.. Great if you have to wait to be picked up or just sitting with a coffee . Since it was late , we didn't really look at the bar and restaurant, but they , as well as the comfy sitting area with fireplace , looked very nice. Our room surprised me with the amount of space !!! Largest room that I have stayed in , with lots of shelving to put articles and a large cabinet/closet, a comfortable chair for watching tv , a wonderful desk . I have to say that this hotel chain is quite different from others that I have stayed in. Functionality of everything has been well thought out. The only difference with this chain is that there is no complimentary breakfast. Coffee can be made in the room. I thought the price of the room was well worth it and I would definitely recommend it and return there when in the area.

688morganton 04/10/2017 20:18I came here to stay for a business trip. The hotel was very quiet with the most comfortable beds. The rooms were updated really nicely and were also very clean. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others!
