Musty and in need of updating
kathryneblackwellon 15/11/2017 22:59My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a home football weekend. Upon entering the room a cockroach climbed up the door which my husband immediately killed. We didn't see any other bugs the rest of our stay but seeing the one cockroach did not offer a great first impression. Also our room and the entire hotel smelled so musty. My clothes, the bedding, the towels and everything was damp to the touch from the amount of humidity in the rooms. The bathrooms were updated but very dirty, there was mold in the shower and on the walls by the shower. The location is great since it is so close to campus but the room itself is not worth the great location in my opinion. I will say that the staff at this hotel is very friendly but the building is just old and it shows.

president212on 03/10/2017 14:11Every time I go, I get the best service treatment, so I keep coming back. I stay here about 10 times a year for the past 5 years. The people in charge to the entire stag are always willing to make you feel at home and go above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you 4 points staff!!!
Weekend Stay for Athethic Event @ Veterans Park and Athletic Complex USAT4 Matthew Texas Shootout.
Kai Yon 26/09/2017 12:56I'm a member with SPG and at first the rate for Four Points was about low $200 to mid $250 a night on the 3rd week of sept 2017, i was there for 3 nights for a tournament at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. I am traveling with a friend who has the same tournament. Front desk is nice and polite, they help us anyway to make our stay comfortable. The room seems a bit out-dated compare to other SPG hotels. However the bathroom looks very modern and it seems to me it was just recently renovated. Does offer free breakfast, coffee, snacks and cool refreshment all day. However, it's not really worth the price, but I only choose this place because it's only one left has double bed (traveling with a friend) and it only cost me 7000 points/night which is a steal. Aloft offer the same points/night but no double bed, and can't say if they offer free breakfast.
Low end of mid-range chain hotels
BillyE04on 06/09/2017 01:27This place is old and it shows. The common areas are run down with a dingy smell. Only one elevator works at the end of the building. However, the bathrooms were updated (at least in our room). The check-in process took way too long (20 min.) given we reserved ahead of time, and they gave us the wrong rooms, so we had to switch.

We had go there due to mandatory evacuation when Hurricane Harvey hit s Texas . Starting from the reservation, the back office person who took our call all the way to checkout the staff was helpful and exceeded all our expectations.
