This is a standard well equipped hotel. Perfect for business trip even though the WiFi/Internet connection slows down a lot after business hours. Room comfort is excellent and no problems sleeping.
Breakfast provided a really good variety of Chinese, Korean, Japanese and western dishes.
If wanting to have a few beers, it is better to find a local restaurant.

My friends and I have decided to spend a weekend in Guangzhou and we are glad we have chosen Four Points. The room is spacious and clean but most importantly, very well-maintained. The next morning, all of us were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection at the breakfast buffet and couldn't help to have some Korean spicy ramen and deep-fried chicken! We have ended up spending 2 hours enjoying our breakfast!
This is truly a value-for-money hotel and we will definitely come back.

I must have checked into the Fourpoints by Sheraton Dongpu at least 50 times in the past eight years and we probably can extrapolate that into the next decade.
The reason is very simple - this has one of the best combination of hardware and software in Guangzhou, if not China. The property is owned by KWG which also owns the W in town. That classy modernist touch. A spacious gym, a high ceiling indoor pool for that dip all year round.
But in the hospitality business, the critical success factor is the people. Both in attitude and ability. I am on a first name basis with many of the great people here, Loki (yep but he's a good guy), Ted and Vicky ("你回来了！"）just makes one feel like this is home away from home.
Part of that translates into the breakfast. The fact that a core group of Korean and Japanese guests who work in Guangzhou live in the hotel keeps the staff well-honed and on their feet. A trip to the breakfast table demonstrates this. I have attached photos of our late breakfast with this review.
Finally, this hotel continues to be a solid value-for-money option for a longer stay. It's rates are often half of those in the city center and Sanxi 三溪 MRT station is a little way down the road.
Can't go wrong with this one.

I visited this Hotel several times. The service is good and the rooms are big. More important is that they are clean.
The breakfast buffet is big and good.
Only the Internet in the room could be better. In the lobby it is fast

My first time visiting Guangzhou and was very excited. I asked friends for advice and they recommended me this hotel, it was excellent! All the staff were very nice and well mannered, especially the manager Seung Ji Han. She really helped me out, which I really appreciate! Also, the food and service were great which made my trip even greater! I look forward to staying here once again the future.
