The front desk and restaurant/bar staff were friendly, nice, attentive, and helpful.
But I agree with other reviews - it’s not the Four Points show boat location.
My only negative was that the rooms were small - which is a first world problem.
My positives (besides the staff as mentioned above) the room was clean, comfortable, and updated. Location was convenient for business travel and meetings. The elevators were prompt and moved at a good speed (yes, I’ve been in hotels where the elevators were negative attributes!).
There wasn’t that much more unique enough to talk about as far as the quality of the hotel in my opinion. It’s just fine for the purpose it served. If I have to go to Culver City again for work, I might check out other hotels in the area to see if they are comparable but I would be comfortable staying there again too.

The only reason that this hotel doesn’t get a 1 Star rating is because the breakfast buffet was good and the restaurant staff are awesome.
My first night was fine. I was able to check in early, which I appreciated. I was given a room that, literally, overlooked a garbage can.
The next morning I found that the in-room coffee maker was not working. Not a huge deal since coffee is available downstairs. I talked to the front desk and they assured me it would be fixed. I left for the day. When I came back, the coffeemaker still wasn’t fixed.
Earlier that morning, I told housekeeping that I didn’t need housekeeping but I did want the 2 bottles of water I was supposed to get. I didn’t get those either and I ended up having to get a large bottle of water downstairs.
When I came back for the evening, as soon as I came off the elevator, I was hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana. I’m very sensitive to it and it makes me very ill. I went down to the front desk to tell them about that and the STILL broken coffeemaker. They fixed the coffeemaker but I was told that they couldn’t do anything about the pot smell. The lady asked me if I wanted to move rooms. I said that I needed to leave (I had an appointment that evening) then and we could handle it when I got back. She told me that they would probably be sold out. I told her then they needed to find the source of the problem.
When I came back, nothing had been done. The smell was terrible. I ordered dessert from room service and promptly threw it back up. That happened a couple of more times that night.
When I checked out in the morning and told them that I spent half the night throwing up, I got a half-hearted apology and nothing else. The company I was doing business with had paid for my hotel and I didn’t pay for parking, so he basically didn’t have anything to quickly comp me, and though I did have $65 in incidentals I was told there was nothing he could do.
I should also mention that the carpet was worn, and the pool is not heated as advertised.
All, in all, my experience here was only great in regards to the food, and I would not stay there again.

Hotel staff were very friendly, very good bar and restaurant, pillowtop beds are among the best and the location is excellent. Good highway access but with the mall across the street and neighborhood and corporate businesses behind, it feels like youre in the burbs. Its my new favorite place when staying near LAX. the only negative is sone highway noise if your room gaves west.

As an SPG member, I have a pretty good sense of the quality and price of this brand. This hotel serves its function well, but it is far from spectacular. The rooms are what you would expect of a Four Points property and it was well kept, but it's location just off the 405 requires that you drive there and then you are faced with paying for parking in an area where parking really should come with the hotel. Unfortunately there is nowhere else in the area to park so you are stuck.
I did not visit the mall, but beyond that there were no real restaurants or bars within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was OK, but not much better than comparable and sometime less expensive brands. Again nothing special.
So other than getting a good price, there is nothing that I could strongly recommend about the hotel. Noting memorable or that sets it apart from other hotels of this type. And paying for parking a bit cheap on their part.

When we checked in, we were unhappy with the tiny standard room. Not acceptable for a couple. The manager upgraded us. The staff was great. The "deluxe" room was what you would expect from a standard. The lobby has a nice Hollywood vibe.
