Our room was on the 6th floor, so street and airport noise were not as bad as I feared when we arrived. The restaurant/bar had good service, but were out of chips to make nachos and out of Malbec. Most serious issue was that the internet and tv service went out during dinner and didn’t come back on line until the next morning. Made it impossible to get work done.

I am a hotel snob, so choose this one. It is conveniently located by the airport, and by a lot of food choices. However, you won’t need to go anywhere because the restaurant in the hotel has the best food I have had in a hotel. The ambiance is even better. Very cozy with a fireplace..the staff is welcoming, and very accommodating. Great rates, parking is free, accessible, and it’s all easy. Perfect for travelers that appreciate a little less chaos.

The hotel was clean, modern and the desk staff could not be more friendly or helpful but understand that you are in the direct flight path of the UPS Worldport center at the Louisville airport. We were assigned this hotel by the housing bureau of a trade show we did at the Kentucky Fair & Expo center. Again the hotel itself is great but starting some mornings at 2:00 am UPS jets fly directly over the hotel landing at the Worldport and some of them are such big jets that you think they are landing on top of you. I know it is not the hotel's fault but just understand this place is noisy from the airport.

After confirmation with a medical doctor, I notified the location that I was exposed to bed bugs during my stay. The initial hotel representative informed me they would notify a manager to follow up with me next day (Friday) and they personally would follow up on their next shift on Saturday. When, on Monday, I had not heard from the location, I contacted the corporate office. They assured me of the priority placed on these types of situations and explained that I would hear back from the corporate office in 5 days, by Saturday. On Tuesday, the day after speaking with corporate, the assistant front desk supervisor from Sheraton phoned. We spoke for 2 minutes before he asked to call me back immediately after he spoke with his general manager. There was no followup phone call that day. The deadline for corporate to respond also came and went with no followup provided. Again, I contacted corporate, to be told they did not reach out to me because they were waiting for the campus to contact them. The agent escalated my complaint to the highest level and stated I would hear from someone immediately. Today, 14 days after the initial report to the Sheraton, 10 days after the initial report to corporate, 9 after the Sheraton reached out to me with the promise of immediate resolution, 5 days after the deadline for corporate to provide an update, no resolution has been reached. There can be no trust in the SPG brand when this is the norm for complaint resolution. Personally, I am appalled at the level of customer service provided.

This hotel is ok for a basic hotel experience. I was expecting something more substantial from the Sheraton brand of hotel. This hotel is similar to an average Country Inn and Suites except there is no free breakfast. My room was a King bed basic room. When I went into the room, I immediately noticed that there are no lights in the room itself except for the lights at the sides of the bed and at the table near the TV. The room is not well lit. I was able to see a noticeable stain in the center of the white comforter. My stay was two days and my room was not cleaned, straightened or towels washed during that time.
