It was my 4th visit to Zaporozhie and 3rd stay at this property. Location and meeting facilities are advantages of the hotel. Variety of breakfast might be better. By the way once I have enjoyed my lunch on the terrace with lake view.

We stayed at Khortitsa Palace last week as a family. We had been there with all of our children years ago when it was Four Points, and it was so wonderful to see that nothing has changed! There are still the same great quality, cleanliness, friendly service, and overall classy atmosphere. The general manager, Ghaffar, is an amazing guy and so hospitable. He and Lyuda, another friendly young lady at the front desk, set us up with beautiful rooms, the extra beds we needed, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Our children loved the delicious breakfast buffet and were excited that it was just as good as they remembered it! There is no other place we will stay in Zaporozhye, and we're already looking forward to our next stay! Thanks, Khortitsa Palace, for being a bright spot in Ukraine!

Do not be fooled by the word 'palace'in the name. This is a 3 star hotel at 4 star prices because there is no real competition in Zaporizhia. I think that the grandiose name is unhelpful because one will inevitably be disappointed at the hotel itself.
The problem is that the hotel badly needs refurbishment. I can imagine that if I had stayed there 10 years ago, I would have been writing a more positive review. I had one of the better rooms but it was still small, basic and well worn. That said, it was clean and comfortable.
I was on one of the higher floors which had a nice view of the river. The problem was that the lifts went down twice in the few days that I was there, although not for long periods. I strongly suspect that the lift equipment is also long past its replacement date.
I have a lot of sympathy for the owners and staff of the hotel. Zaporizhia has been hit harder than most by the tough times in the Ukraine over recent years, business is slow and there is probably not the money to give the hotel the refurbishment that it needs. I should say that I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
If you are going to Zaporizhia, this is, as far as I am aware, the best hotel in town, just do not expect a 'palace'.

stayed here for a couple of nights early december.The quality of staff was excellent , helpful and efficient .The room was superb all facilities working and very clean and well maintained.It has 24 hour room service and a very relaxed easy going atmosphere and very well laid out.The lifts (which are often a problem in many ukrainian hotels) were great and fast.The breakfast was varied and omlettes can be individually prepared on request.I look forward to staying here again in the future.One point worth mentioning is the difficulty of UK visitors changing pounds In zaporizhia , there is bank about 500m up on the right from the hotel that can do this easily.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for over 300 nights, over 4 separate visits, during the past two years.
Why anyone who comes to Zaporozhye, would stay anywhere else, is beyond me. As the consistency, quality, and friendliness of the service, is second to none.
Everyone here goes above and beyond for their guests. As a recent example of this, on my last visit my laptop failed. The IT manager identified the problem, and then not only found me a reputable repair facility, but personally drove me there. And then two days later the General Manager, took me there again, to pick it up. What made it all the more remarkable was the simple fact, that this was done at the weekend, on the GM's day off.
And yes, it is still working lol !!
I could single out many individuals here, but I prefer not to do so. Like any hotel, it is a team effort, and I think that the (excellent) GM would agree with this.
