Really well located motel on Lombard street with free (=included) parking spots. Avoid rooms on the ground floor as they are pretty noisy (you won't be able to sleep) - but all other are quite ok.
Beds are ok, TV is good, view to Golden Gate bridge from the 3rd floor!
Silent residential area, only a few small shops, not many restaurants (just one).

This hotel is very convenient. Free parking and free breakfast however, breakfast was just dry donuts which were just okay. Room was nice. Hotel a little outdated, but not that bad. Location was great. Not too far from main Lombard street and maybe 15 minute walk to Ghirdardelli square and another 10 minutes or so to Fisherman's wharf. Great view of Golden Gate Bridge too.

TL:DR; Don’t book here because they might cancel your reservation and not tell you.
If I could give this hotel zero stars, I could. I booked a room through Expedia for a Wednesday night, choosing the option to pay at the hotel when I check in. Upon arrival to the hotel at approximately 7:45pm, I was informed by the woman working the front desk that my reservation had been cancelled because my card had been declined. Major issues with this. First, why had my card even been charged prior to me arriving? Second, why the heck was I not informed of this, although they clearly have my information in their computer?
She continues to tell me that they have overbooked the hotel and have no room for me, BUT WAIT, we’ve saved you a room at this hotel clear across the city! What? I didn’t want to stay by the 101, I booked a hotel close to the wharf on purpose. I asked to speak with the manager and was told there wasn’t one there, and I could not have the number because it would just call the hotel.
So extremely disappointed and pissed off with this place.

The inn was much older than the pictures posted on booking.com. The room had a stench and room is old. Toilet is old and not clean. It is very expensive for staying at this inn. I was charge $280usd a night. I will recommend to stay in other inn/hotel.

Excellent hotel, free parking, free breakfast ideal spot for seeing San Francisco only 20 minutes walk to Fishermans Whalf. We found it very had to find a hotel in San Francisco on our road trip, all the hotels were expensive and wanted 50 dollars a night extra for parking your car. This hotel was free parking and free wifi with a fridge microwave and with walking distance of all attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was free every morning with coffee and tea available all day in the reception area. It is a fairly small hotel but definitely worth staying in. Would stay here again if I visited San Francisco. We only stayed 3 nights.
