Reception is ugly, rooms are big (at least business class rooms that we had) but old, carpwting on the floor stained. Jacuzzi did not work and was dirty, bathtub was clogged we asked to fix it in 3 consecutive days it was done on 4th day when we went to senior manager, same story with bottled in the room no one brings it until you ask. With some magic that is available to senior manager after direct complain to her this was solved to.
Breakfast mediocre for 3 stars hotel....i really do not know how G empire got 4 star rating it is may be OK for 3. Will never book it again.

Stayed for 4 days. Downtown location is a blessing in disguise. Rooms are standard. Food is superb. Staff gentle and ready to help at all times. Sushi at the restaurant is highly recommended. Prices at the restaurant and the cafe are reasonable. Drinks menu is good and beer is good.

At short notice I found myself at this hotel and it was ideal. Fishpond in the lobby -winner! Nice big room, basic facilities, surprisingly good food and a mega market next door. Green market just a hundred yards down the road and city centre just 4 dollars and 15 minutes away.
I'd recommend it for what it is - basic but handy and does a job.

Dont be fooled by the photographs for the hotel, its situated in old town... which is convenient. However the room are very old and dated, my room had an old analog tv, with no Digital TV at all....... the rooms looked like its from the 70's and furniture are old as well..... the bed is satifactory, and there was problems with my room heating, as i was always cold at night....

Spent one night due to missed connection flight. The room was warm and cleaned even if the furniture required a small renovation.
I did not like the small restaurant where the personnel don't speak English and the food was a bit to fat for my taste. At the reception the personnel were kind and helpful.
