Lovely

We recently stayed at Gajner Palace for 1 night. It is a very grand property with amazing gardens and bird life. The room we stayed in was huge, very comfortable and quite. Although the staff are helpful they seem to be arrogant with little genuine friendliness. Restaurant food was basic, breakfast below par. Needs some injection of change.
Great hospitality in a wonderful palace

We had a short visit to the Gajner Palace Hotel and spent some time having refreshments and tea. The place is maintained beautifully and the service provided is very good. For a nominal charge you can visit the palace and get to know about its rich history. My young child wanted to see a peacock and Mr Rajendra Singh went out of his way to make this possible. A memorable few hours in this splendid oasis.
Amazing old hotel in need of love and care

This place is like stepping back in time to the days of the British Raj. Desperately in need of some TLC, it still oozes old world charm. Set in beautiful grounds on a lake, the architecture is Anglo- Indian with oriental terraces and pavilions, and rooms finished in the English style. But the lounges and curtains need a good steam clean, the mattresses are hard and linen old, outdoor furniture rusted, windows broken, lake full of weeds, and swimming pool and fountains empty. The only area in good conditions was the restaurant but food just so-so. A new manager and a new broom and it would be wonderful!
wow and amazing old property with large rooms and fridge and bathroom

We loved this old palace. The view of the lake from the restaurant was good. We had the buffet here at night and it was a good selection. Breakfast was great also. We wished we had longer to visit the grounds. Was just incredible. The hot water took a while to come on but did not matter. The bed was really comfortable. The a/c was noisy so we just slept with the fan on and that was ok. Big fans under verandah so we sat out side our room and had some drinks and nibbles prior to dinner. Fantastic
One night stay

Stopped here for one night as a part of a group trip. No other option but to eat here since it's in the middle of no where. Food average, service ok. Found the room a bit dingy. Arrived here for the night of Diwali but they only had very low-key fireworks. Not somewhere I would have chosen myself.
