I stayed in this hotel for only one night, though I booked it for 4 days. I moved on the next day and requested them to keep one of my backpack having my dresses in it.I moved to Gangotri and just because of the landslide at Badrinath, not able to come back in 2 days. I requested on phone also to take care of my bag and the things to the housekeeping department. After 3 days when I came back I didn't get my bag.I waited there for 1.5 hrs to get back my back, but they made all false calls and promised me that they will courier my bag to my Residence in Mumbai. Its already one and half month passed, I am getting the false promise from Mr. Upadheye and nobody is attending the calls too. My bag is not reached to me.Please send the same Immediately.......Smruti Desai...09769900779

I stayed there for 1 day although I had initially booked it for 2 days. It was a bad experience. I had gone out for some sightseeing in Haridwar but returned quite early as it was too hot outside, only to see few guys smoking inside my room when I opened the door. It had never happened to me before anywhere else. So I asked them to vacate, kept my bag and went down to the reception and told them that the floor was full of of cigarette ashes and needed to be cleaned. One of the staff said, "you might have smoked sir". They cleaned it only when I told them which guys were responsible for that. Later I found out that there are bugs in the bed. I just couldn't tolerate another day there. It was easily the worst hotel that I have stayed in.

Stayed for one night rooms are good service is up to the mark... easy execes to har ki Pori whichever a is the main attraction of the Haridwar even hotel will help to get the tickets of Mansa Devi Thank giving the late check-out..

Though Hotel Name is Ganges Rivera but actually only one room is Ganga river facing !
For People coming 4m Delhi-NCR its easily accesible as its bang on Delhi-By Pass Road..
Food & amenities both are ok while rooms are quite big & spacious..
We had buffet breakfast which was far better than lunch.
Room service is speedy , hotel staff is courteous & gives a customer centric feeling - while staying we got a mid day call regardging any incovenience we are facing apart from asking to fill Feedback form....
Though later on regret why didn't i took Hotel at Har ki Paudi facing Maa Ganga all the time & have privilege to step down - have glimpse of Ganges River at early morning , even at mid night & enjoy Ganga Aarti from Balcony of room.
Still it was fulfilling experience !

I have spent 3 nights in the Hotel Ganges Rivera. It is in front of the Ganges canal and approximatively 4 km (1 hour of walk) from the Har Ki Pauri away. All the staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The manager takes personally care that the guests feel fine and does not hesitate to help. The room was neat and tidy with air condition and the restaurant had good food too. So I can speak about a very good overall experience I had these days in Ganges Rivera. I'd recommend it.
