Not sure what other people were expecting but I did not excperience any of the negative comments I saw other people make. We needed to be close to the airport so we chose garden suites out of neccessity and i am glad we did. Spent 2 days here and could have easily spent a week. Rooms are spacious and clean . Shower could use a little more pressure but is adequate . All the staff during our stay were helpful and a pleasure to converse with. Large lobby with giant TV and fireplace in the lounge is also the breakfast area. Not a great selection but has all the essentials coffee, milk, toast , cereal ,jams etc Lobby has some interesting architecture andneven lobby Bathroom has a great art peice. 24 hour Walgreens 2 doors down and a 24 hour mexican restaurant across the highway with great food. The A bus goes past the hotel and takes you to and from the airport for $2.75

We had low expectations coming here. We only needed to stay one night and we weren't prepared to fork out premium dough for a single night's stay.
We came for the Blue Jays game so pretty much everywhere was sold out or in the hundreds of dollars.
The Good: Cheap, free wi-if, and Easy check in, there is a cool little Mexican market (complete with wrestling masks!) and Walgreens just up the road. The bedding was clean, they gave us a roll-away bed at no charge for our daughter who slept like a log. Our floor was filled with fellow Blue Jays fans so I felt I was safe and in good company on the floor.
The Bad: Area is a bit iffy, saw a homeless person in the area, wouldn't go for a walk after dark. Pretty far from Seattle. The bed was so saggy and the pillows beyond lumpy.
The Ugly: The smell! We couldn't put our finger on what it was (we think perhaps at one point it may have been a smoking room and they had tried to cover the smell), it didn't smell smoky per-say but something was funky, we were told that the smoking rooms are on the bottom floor only. The carpet was GROSS, don't walk on it in your bare feet, in desperate need of a shampoo (almost sticky to the touch). The sink, and toilet were clean but the housekeeping missed some dirt on the walls and light switches (eww). Our room was also right beside the elevator which was super noisy (thankfully people stopped using it around 11pm at night).
Summary: would not be my first choice for a second stay, but if we couldn't find anything else and only needed the one night I'd consider this place again. It met our expectations for the price we paid so I'm not disappointed.

We did not stay here we rented a uhaul, based on the time in the lobby we will not be renting anytime soon! I was grossed out and worried for my safety! The place is very dirty and seems to draw a questionable crowd, "let your mind run wild"! The lady working the front desk spit a big snot wod on the lobby carpet while helping us, if she was slow due to the need to blow her nose I would have been ok, but this wasn't the case. Drive by this location you will be glad you did.

First of all everyone is telling the truth : other reviews.
I can't just leave because me and my husband need to stay close to the area.
Most of the motels in the area are close are the same but this is the first time in my life I am having problems with a staff member. He is a young man who cleans up etc
but lives under us in the room downstairs. He speaks little English and my husband
thought he was a nice kid. I told my husband not to get friendly with people in places like this. I fell over a chair tonight and he has been banging all evening. I complained but they do nothing about it. My husband is a calm person and asked him two times last week to lower his music which he plays at 2AM. Me and my husband are middle aged and I am not in good health. I FEEL THIS YOUNG MAN IS GOING TO GET AGGRESSIVE!
I cry all the time because I'm so depressed from having to live here. With all the business we give this place and they never do anything when we complain. They have no control or just do not care. I called the police once and they did not show because the front desk told them that everything was OK. I can't walk outside after dark because the area is as bad as the motel. I don't like being nasty but I am thinking about contacting immigrations to see if this young man even belongs in the country.

Don't stay here if it's free. You would have a cleaner more pleasurable stay at a homeless shelter. Gross!!!! Unlocked doors. No!!! The staff is creepy, and as we arrived two different people were complaining. There are stains on everything. I am confident nothing gets washed even the towels. Nothing works, most rooms don't have alarm clocks or phones.
