Is a good hotel, clean, the restaurant has good food.
The pool looks really good. The backyard too.
The people are kind.
If you travel and needs to be near to the center of Barranquilla is a well location. By the way have some they call "pasadia" so you can spend one day there.

The value at this place is great. Nice pool, superb service, and a really yummy ceviche, the watermelon juice is the best juice I've tried. Totally recommended, the people working there is more than helpful with the Travelers.

Stayed over Carnival (busiest season of the year) and the hotel was kept super clean, the service was superb, and the amenities are more than you would expect from a downtown hotel. The food is also really good and the prices are extremely reasonable.
100% recommendable.

Awesome clean historic local building that has been maintained extraordinarily well. The building has been modernized with all the other amenities you expect with a hotel these days along with fast reliable WiFi. The grounds and pool are well kept with plenty of sunny and shady spots to lounge around.
There is an on-site restaurant that has some of the best food I had while in Colombia. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful to provide an easy stress free stay.
Hotel Genova Centro is a place I would strongly recommend to any of my friends and family if they were visiting Barranquilla.

Stayed here during the Carnaval and really enjoyed it. Staff was incredibly friendly and food was great and reasonably priced. Your also not going to find a better swimming pool and outdoor area in Barranquilla. Its nice hidden gem of a hotel with an interesting history. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Genova again.
