This is a small, quirky historic hotel. It’s on the western edge of Temple Bar area, next to Christ Church Cathedral and its bells, but still a relatively short walk to explore the city centre. I’ve stayed here before and was happy with it but now find it needs to be refurbished. It is advertised as a modern boutique hotel, but that is an exaggeration; you have to take the stairs before getting the lift. The rooms are very variable in size; rooms at the front and 107 can be noisy but at the back of the hotel the main noise is air conditioning/heating systems from the backs of other buildings. It is too expensive for what it offers as it hasn’t the amenities you'd expect for a three-star hotel. However there's a full Irish breakfast so perhaps worth one night to tick the Handel box.

I loved my stay at this hotel ! The location is great you're right in the city center and you can walk to a lot of Dublin's main attractions. The staff is perfect and the rooms are comfortable. I would definitely go back there if I have the chance to visit Dublin again !

Centrally located hotel, near to bars, shops and restaurants. Clean good size rooms with a decent bathroom and toiletries. On a quiet street but unfortunately you can hear the church clock chimes from the nearby cathedral, I am a light sleeper so any noise wakes me. Comfortable bed with clean linen. Ideal hotel for a couple of nights in Dublin. Lovely friendly staff, who were able to provide us with our rooms before check in time and our departure we were able to leave our luggage safely and enjoy our last day.

There are some steps from the reception to the elevators, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage, or have mobility issues.
The rooms were clean, big enough for two persons and close enough to all the action in temple bar.
Very good location and easy enough to find.

Hotel is situated close to Temple Bar area but away from the noise,so no problem with sleeping. Beds are very comfortable, more than enough toiletries, room was larger than expected,really good hotel.
