My employer booked a room with a double bed for a one night stay. I had confirmation email stating this. Upon arrival the room was not a double bed, instead a very small single bed. When returning to reception to ask why I wasn't provided what was booked I was told that it was the only room left in the hotel. I then showed the confirmation email and the reception attendant became very nervous and stuttering while trying to come up with a reason why it was a single bed. There were no other rooms available for an upgrade or room exchange.
The room was very small and it was a struggle to get luggage in through the door with the design of the room. Room was clean but very basic.
Bed was on wheels so not only being very small it moved easily when getting into it. I am not a tall person (163cm) so if anyone taller than me was sleeping in the bed their feet would have been hanging out the bottom. It also seemed narrower than a normal single bed, not much wider than a standard pillow. $300 a night to sleep in a tiny single bed is just a ripoff.
Air conditioning is very noisy but without it running there is no fresh air. Aircon had a funny smell to it as well.
Would not recommend staying here.

A good short stay hotel. The rooms were very clean and had all you needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and loads of hot water. There was a great reasonably priced restaurant next door. reception had vouchers that you could use to get a fabulous breakfast for $15. The staff were lovely. The location is within an easy walk to Roma street station and the Queen street mall. You are not far from the footbridge to South Bank.
The only downside , the hallways could do with a little cheering up and it could be a lonely place to stay.

Love this hotel. Conveniently located in the city, walking distance to Southbank, next to 7 Eleven, bottle shop and bus stops on Adelaide Street (for many tourist spots ie Lone Pine Koala and Mount Coot-tha). Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great location, clean quiet rooms and friendly helpful staff, the rooms are very small but suited what we needed. I loved that it was central to everything and had a restaurant next door. I would happily stay again.

Well maintained clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.The shower has very poor water pressure and is difficult to regulate temperature.
Attached Restaurant has nice reasonably priced meals and friendly staff
Limited car parking available at a cost of $28.00.
The downside is that if you leave the car park during your stay there is no guarantee that the car space you have paid for will still be available when return
