While the property is charming, it is quite dated. I felt a little more attention to cleaning details could have changed my mind. The carpet was dark and old which made me feel like I didn't dare walk around in bare feet. The location is primo with magnificent views however!

We were excited to visit Georgetown, what a beautiful place! We did not know where to stay and Georgetown Mountain Inn was recommended. With 6 of us traveling, we decided to look at the suite and a king room. Both were available and we were so excited. Dan was the BEST to work with... Love this guy, he was so helpful. If you are looking for a family owned, charming place to stay; then this is the place!! We will be back Dan and thank you!!

We did an overnight here. Price was reasonable ,bed was comfortable and the showers were hot. The building is very dated to the 70's. The front desk service was fun and a pleasure to deal with. The restaurant attached to the hotel has fantastic pizza. The 3 stars is more about the dated hotel. We would definitely return for the price!

rooms were clean and updated . Staff was very nice. Beautiful area. We took a drive up the mountain. Close to downtown area, visitors center and shops.Parking right outside your room. Coffee and muffins in the morning.

We ended up at the Georgetown Mountain Inn on the recommendation of Amanda from Cooper's on the Creek Restaurant last minute after we were unable to access our vacation rental that we had prepaid. Pete was manning the desk that night and was so helpful and a great to boost our mood after the VRBO mess. We had plans to hike early, so he arranged a coffee pot, etc to be brought to our room since we would be leaving before breakfast hours started. On our return from the hike, Pete was at the desk again and wanted to hear all about the hike and see our pictures. He and Dan were both great and we learned quite a bit about Georgetown from them. The hotel was built in 1964, so it is "quaint" with pine log furniture. However, the beds were comfortable, there was a microwave in the room and a full pot of coffee, and the shower had great water pressure after a long day of hiking. Though I usually prefer to stay at boutique hotels, I would definitely stay here again ...mainly because of Pete!
