What People are saying

Absolutely loved this park.

Ruby M on 20/11/2017 03:44

We stayed here for 10 days two weeks ago. We originally only booked 5 days as we left another park in Byron and decided we wanted another few days. A local mentioned this park as we hadn't heard of it and so glad we did. Beautifully maintained and the loveliest people in the office, could be more helpful. We loved it that much stayed for 10 days. Lots of buses with backpackers overnight but so well behaved and great young people. We will definitely be back and for longer this time, Perfect position to walk to town each day.

Nice place, but management's attitude is intolerable

Overall I liked the place. Well-kept, clean, green and quiet.

The last item, however, was the reason for very strange and unpleasant encounter with the manager.
Situation - I walked back in with a few friends after a lighthouse hike. We are in good mood, laughing and making fun of each other.
The manager steps out of his place and demands us to be quiet. I check my watch - it was not even 9pm. Official property rules require being quiet after 10 for the record. I wasn't sure at that moment and I politely asked the manager to elaboate - maybe I just misunderstood the rules. The answer was: "Are you arguing with me now?". and then basically along the lines "I am the boss here" and "shut up OR..."

The moral. If you are old and boring - you'll probably like this place. If being dominated by some jerk is your thing - this might work well too. If, however, you are young and have life - you might want to consider some other place

nice place to stay....

nice place to stay, if you need wi-fi , it is non exsistent !!!!!!! very slow, very hard to stay connected. made my stay more difficult. byron bay otherwise is a very nice, welcoming place in australia.

Great little cabin. Comfy bed. Good rest.

Our first stop on our trip to Canberra on the bike. Travelling with friends on the Police Remembrance Wall to Wall Ride. Stayed in this lovely quiet park which was in walking distance to the Byron Bay Brewery where our first function was held. Clean & well maintained cabin with a restful nights sleep after our ride. Mate had his camp trailer set up & although a bit windy, it did the job. Surrounded by trees & greenery It was a good short stay. Traffic was not really a issue for us as we all met up early the next morning to depart from the BP after a snack for breakfast & petrol top up. If camping , keep an eye on the scrub turkeys !! A young camper had a scrub turkey take off with his bag of corn chips. Quite funny to see a german tourist running after it yelling, "I don't believe it". Good little park.

Great location, great price

We stayed at Glen Villa for 4 nights as a group (1 couple and 2 friends) all under 30. We had 2 2man tents and allocated lots next to each other with our makeshift tarp "living room" in between the lots.

The lots were clean and well cared for, the kitchen and toilets were also clean and a short walk away as was all amenities like woolies pubs and clubs. Couldn't fault the place as far as we are concerned.
It's a quiet haven within the centre of Byron!

But watch out for the turkeys!! Don't leave anything out, even if you turn your back for a second. Whilst making a sandwich the crafty winged rodent ran off with a whole unopened wheel of Camembert! 😂
