I've been completely ripped off - paying a ridiculous amount of money for utter garbage. Extremely poor standards for a hotel. First i booked for 6 persons and was given 2 tiny double rooms that clearly sleeps 4 and when asked for this to be rectified was told it was our fault. Secondly the customer service is non existent. Outrageous. Paid £320 for 2 nights and since seen was offered for £55 a night. Extortionate. Thirdly was asked for photo ID for my niece - she's 2 years of age!!! No window in one room, no room to swing a cat, bed push up to one wall and was offered (use this term very loosely) a extra cot - but where could we put that cot without causing serious concerns with health and safety. Words cannot describe how i feel about this hotel. When asked for extra duvets (as there was only 2 between both beds) i was given 2 pillows and duvets without any covers for them. It took a lengthy discussion to get a pillow case and sheet off staff, for which was told we "should" be charged and not even duvet cover could be provided. The list goes on and on. Complete disregard for customer service is shocking. I intend to be refunded for this experience - i felt like a caged dog....
Dissapointing

Good location, 5 mins walk from station, but everything else was a disappointment. We stayed for 3 nights, were on the top floor which was a hell of a climb if you're not so mobile! If you're after a cheap central stay for 1 night it might do the trick but i won't be going back....
...Bathroom stank of sewage (we went and bought air freshener and sprayed before we could use it each day!) beds were well worn, plug socket hanging off wall, toilet was basically under the sink so good job we're both fairly slim! Worst thing for me was the shower, if anyone else flushed their toilet or ran the tap in their room our shower went either freezing cold or scalding hot! The water only ever dribbled out too.
Lastly, the breakfast was literally toast or cereal and in their cramped basement with about 3 tables so was fairly cosy.
Disappointing in my opinion

It's an ideal hotel if you're solo traveling, on a budget, very skinny, don't eat breakfast & not bothered by wifi.
The room my mother and I had was tiny with literally no space for our suitcases. The bathroom was definitely not suitable for anyone slightly round or big. Safety deposit box didn't work and had a problem with locking the windows. The hotel manager was very kind though, and helpful, but the other Russian ? Staff weren't as friendly.
You have to pay for wifi which IS written on the website - that was our fault for not reading every detail. But just be aware of that.
Breakfast was literally toast and tea in a basement, no seats available due to overcrowdedness.
Overall I don't think it's bad. But definitely not for me! We checked out after a night.. and obviously didn't get refunded which was understandable. I don't recommend it but for a solo backpacker on a budget it might do
So close to Hyde Park

Booked this hotel at last minute as going to a concert in Hyde Park. Our room was in the basement and was tiny, the shower was even tinier. This place is very basic but a continental breakfast was included which was ok
The point is that this hotel was very close to the park, we were only staying one night so it was perfect for our needs.
central, but get rid of the fake plants !

To start on a positive note, this hotel is right next to Paddington station which is very
useful when checking in at a late hour. When viewing the hotel online I thought the exterior looked quite pleasant especially with the flowers outside, how incorrect I was about those flowers ! On approaching I realised they were fake, and badly fake , to improve first impressions I would highly recommend investing a few bob in some nice living plants , geraniums perhaps :) The decor downstairs was also a little depressing , not a word I often use but i find it just right in this usage, a photoshopped picture of a small boat on the river Thames pushed me over the edge ! The receptionist was helpful , and when we returned at 23:30 there was still someone there on reception to let us in - poor bloke ! Our room was on the highest floor, and it was indeed high, definitely not for someone with faulty legs, but we could laugh about it.The room was small , a little 70's caravan vibey, but I do suppose it suited our needs. It was pretty clean, except a little dirt in the fridge. Actually the fridge was a nice addition , a little unnecessary along with the unopenable safe, but a sweet touch. The shower actually ran fairly warm after a while, which was not expected. Maybe I'm being a little harsh, this all should be taken with just a pinch of salt, if it was not for the downstairs decor this review would be average :) Anyhow , breakfast was simple but it was good to have included ! the little courtyard area had a nice feel on a warm morning. Also, we paid 2.50 for an hours wifi and yet we didn't need to sign in with the code , it was available for free for our entire visit, either we were scammed or the owners need to talk to their broadband people !Overall , for fifty quid , the place was fine , just a little underwhelming
