The lobby is pretty shabby so the first impression wasn’t the best. The room wasn’t nearly as nice as it looked on the website. The location was nice though so we were fairly satisfied. However, on the last morning, I expressed dissatisfaction that our room wasn’t as advertised. The young woman at the front desk was extremely rude raising her voice at me. I will definitely return to Catalina but never to this hotel again and will certainly not recommend it to others! There are plenty other nice places to stay with better service!

Comfortable, convenient and roomy! We stayed here 3 nights for JazzTrax Festival. Charming hotel with a historical, but not "old" feel. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed, flat screen TV, parlor table for two and nice closet. The bath was just the right amount of space. We've stayed in spacious suites with separate tub/shower baths. This bath was the size we expected and just the right size we needed.
Situated about one-half block from the bay, this quaint hotel faces the street. Again, this was not a problem as this location was convenient to shopping and restaurants, between jazz concerts sets. Also, the Glenmore Plaza is between the dock for the Catalina Express and the Casino venue for JazzTrax.
We would stay at this lovely hotel with its accommodating staff again next year. Very highly recommended!

Was very pleased with the choice of Glenmore. It was a last minute reservation and other hotels were already full. It concerned me that they stil had availability. Not a problem, in fact a good choice, nice room, and very helpful staff. We had a 3rd floor street side room which was a little noisy in the evening since it is a Main Street but the noise quieted by midnight. Had a good nights rest. Most of the hotels do not have elevators so if that's a problem ask for a lower floor. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would stay at Glenmore again.

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Glenmore for our honey moon. We loved it. We had the sun room which had a balcony. The room was spacious, great light and a small view of the ocean. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is a block away from the beach and main walking area. It is in a great location.

We visited Catalina for my husband's birthday. We booked a room at the Glenmore (oldest hotel on Catalina). Room was basic, but nice. Really liked the old sconces - a little taste of days gone by. Staff was very friendly, Location is great (not too far from the boat terminal and close to store, shops, beach and restaurants). This is the third time I've stayed here (once several years ago, second time on a girls' outing, and now)...nothing too fancy, but it is affordable. Only wish they would have upgraded us since it was his birthday and it was a weekday...
