This was our 3rd consecutive 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed back as old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, especially as I had broken my arm 3 weeks previously and after a very helpful phone call to Elena the Front Office Manager, we were provided with a step and non slip mat for the bath. The room was spotless, towels changed and a bottle of water provided daily; also a bottle of red wine, robes and slippers on arrival. There were always sun loungers available in the gardens, beside the pool and on the lovely sandy beach. The meals were very good, including a visit to the Asian restaurant. All the staff were excellent, so friendly, many of them having worked there for many years - Vassillis, Magda and Mary in the restaurant and Elena, Costa, Spiros and Ionna on Reception. We can't praise this hotel enough and will certainly be returning next year.

Perfect beach holiday

Including some tips about the beach and local area. Firstly, the hotel. It's a very nice simple hotel. Most people would book because they want a beach holiday, and so (like us) aren't looking for luxury. Our room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning and a balcony. Breakfast is nice and plentiful - the usual juices, eggs, meats, toast and pastries as well as lots of fruit. Staff are helpful and cheery. A transfer from Corfu airport was arranged for EUR 35. It's a similar price to go into Corfu town. THE BEACH Glyfada is known for its sandy beach, which is true until you get into the water - then it's a few meters of rock and pebbles until you get to underfoot sand again - however, as you get to the beach turn to your right and you're almost at the end. Go to the very end where it curves round, and the entry into the water here is totally sandy. The water stays shallow a long way out so at this end of the beach - even when the beach is busy - there is loads of room to swim around without bumping into anyone. The blue sunbeds are EUR 8 per day - they open at 10am. They are almost all taken by 11.30am in August. THE LOCAL AREA. There is a little shop further along the beach as you turn left, behind a taverna. Pelekas is the nearest village, a taxi here was EUR 15 arranged by the hotel. But make sure you pre-book the taxi home, we almost got stranded because there were no available taxis. There is a nice taverna attached to the hotel which does ice cold tankards of beer and good cocktails. Food is very varied - we loved the pasta, pizzas, Greek meat platter and moussaka. In conclusion - a great beach holiday, no frills but plenty of sun, sea and sand - exactly what we wanted.

Great location at the quieter end of the stunning beach. Service and staff were both friendly and professional. Rooms refurbished to a high standard with bedding and towels changed every day. Breakfast was of a high standard, plenty of choice and lots of it. The hotel was able to arrange car hire for us in advance of our visit with was a great help. We will definitely stay here again

Best Beach in Corfu!

The Hotel is in a great location.
We hired a car to visit the entire Island. By far, Glyfada Beach is the best you will find in Corfu. Other beaches are pebbles or too over crowded.
But, be sure to stay away from the public part of the beach as way too many people visit this beach.
Hotel is small and clean. No lift but that's about standard for Corfu. Olympia (hotel receptionist) - very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was freshly made everyday.
Would certainly visit again.

Crowded beach...

No a good idea to stay at only 20cm near your neighbor with your sun bed and must to pay for this 8 euros. If you have umbrella you can stay in the left side and you will have a little shade.
Sandy beach and a few tavernas to eat, but not with fresh calamari...only freeze.
