We booked a tribute night at Glynhill. The original act that was supposed to be on changed since we booked but we were offered our money back or to change our night. Very friendly check in staff at reception even though we arrived early our room was ready. Nice modern room with lovely walk in shower. Great choice at breakfast next morning. Will definitely be back.

Moved rooms 3 times... first room was incorrect room (not the room we booked, which was a family room. Was told push the two single beds together!!! Ok my 7 month old will sleep in the gap), second no electricity to room and last residents dirty socks on the floor... which my daughter almost ate! third room the furniture had stains all over it! Gordon Ramsey you need to get to this place with that infa-red camera!!! Cause I have no idea what this filth is.....and I hate to imagine! To top it off the porter scratched out baby buggy!! Fawlty towers!..... real shame as we have stayed before and this completely ruined my wife’s birthday away

We were a party of four having a meal in the Carvery at the Glynhill tonight. Two of our group were from the USA and were staying at the hotel on our suggestion. (They had originally planned to stay somewhere in Glasgow).
Our meal tonight was delicious. A special thank you to the chef who took time to explain what everything was and in some instances, how it was cooked. We had a lovely meal and it’s such good value at two courses and the salad bar for under £17 per person.
Shannon who served us deserves a mention too as she was very polite and helpful.

After the nightmare of the A82 road closure ( 5 hours in a jam), we decided to look for a hotel as we still had 4 hours ahead of us. We stumbled on the Glynhill. Very friendly staff. Small but comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. We had dinner there , the only down side was, it was a little chaotic and took 15 minutes to take our drink order, then a further 10 minutes to receive them. So saying the waiting staff were very friendly. Breakfast, although extremely busy was lovely. I would stay there again.

Went here for our second anniversary for 1 overnight stay I mentioned at reception it was our anniversary so could we have a quiet room. That we got a lovely room just next to the leasure facilities and the guy at reception must have took note it was our anniversary and we had booked into the grill and while waiting on our meal the young girl Nikki came over with a complimentary bottle of prececco such a lovely touch . The meal in the grill was delicious we had the steak deal and it was well worth the money the girl Nikki who served us was so attentive and made sure our visit was really pleasurable she made our visit enjoyable so hats off to a lovely member of staff and the manager who sent over the pressco was really pleasant too so felt special on our special occasion so anyone thinking of a stay at this hotel won't be disappointed for whatever reason.
