This was my 1st trip to Goa. Booked 2 rooms at Hotel Godwin for 2 nights through an agent, checked in on 09/10/17. Bar did't have juices to make cocktails, wifi sucks everywhere except the receiption area. Beakfeast had only ONE non veg dish "EGGS". Beds have mouldy smell. Had to checkout on the 10/10/17 without a refund. The lady manager didn't seem to care so did the F&B manager. Restaurant menu has seafood but unfortunately they don't have seafood in stock to prepare

The hotel is beautiful,with a great designed reception/dining/ bar area. Rooms are very spacious with spacious bathrooms as well. The rooms are neat and clean with big screen tvs. The pool area is very nice and is perfect to cool down in the Goa heat. The hotel is situated within walking distance of many restaurants and the beach. The only issue we has was that the Wi-Fi did not connect at all in our room therefore we had to sit in the reception area whenever we needed to use the Wi-Fi. Overall a great stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Meets RSA standards.

To sum up my experience at Godwin Hotel:
A great potential hotel considering its location and design but managed poorly with very mediocre service. Service staff needs to be trained on hospitality as it was considerably lacking at the hotel...the breakfast spread was very average...cleanliness was not up to the mark in the room..a simple thing like a clean kettle was missing...imagine making your morning cup of tea with a frothy kettle...we had to have that changed..and it left a sour taste in my mouth for sure...apart from location nothing much here!avoid this hotel unless no option..not good value for money!

Over all good stay...best location. Room was good with balcony. Breakfast can be improvised with more variety. Staff was helpful and courteous. Nice ambience... Pool was impressive but could not use.. May benefit time. Timing for breakfast needs to be extended since people are on holiday and due to nightlife of Goa that disturbs n gives discomfort

We were walkins, looking for a place to stay. The reception was warm and checked us in without any fuss. We stayed for 3 days. Here are my points.
1. Key card did not work initially but was ok by next morning.
2. Ac was pleasant, and the bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable.
3. The bed was 2 layers if 6" spring mattresses.. so was a bit uncomfortable in the center which formed a valley.
4. Breakfast was Spartan but tasty. The staff was smiling, which is half the battle.
Overall a good stay, and good value for money. I recommend this hotel for budget travellers.
