Perfect for a bike holiday
Thoraveleron 02/09/2017 08:19As many times before, this was a very pleasant stay in Goldene Krone. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious and clean. I stayed in a room overlooking a large and beautiful monastery garden. It was also on the side facing the mountains. If you are looking for a guided bike tour in the mountains you will be well taken care of here, no matter your skills. The guides know every little corner of the trails in this area and will guide you safely through spectacular landscapes. If you have some experience fram mountain biking before you will love the downhill trails from the Plose. After a long day pedaling up and down the trails you can enjoy a drink and a snack on the outside terrace before you hit the sauna or give your legs a proper massage and preparation for the next day on the bike.

LeonardoDeMeloon 30/03/2017 18:35Good location and nice staff. The breakfast is very good, you can sit outside enjoying the mountain view. By the way, the rooms facing the mountains + gardens just by the hotel are the best ones! Hotel also provide good mountainbikes for downhill! Recommended.

Blossom Son 06/01/2017 18:19I love stay in this hotel, it's very clean and Tidy. all the stuff are helpful and friendly. Free use sauna from 4-8pm and Have a good wellness center. They Provides the parking lot, have a super great breakfast. Give you free ticket to enter acquarena (just access the swimming pools not all the facilities), 5 minutes walk from hotel.
And the location are just in the middle of the town Bressanone. So good for sure will be back.
Central and convenient, but choose your room carefully
Kate Hon 14/10/2016 12:47Overall, the stay was good, but I came away with very mixed impressions.
I had treated myself to a room with a balcony, and I really enjoyed this - so quiet despite being in the middle of town, and very pleasant to sip a glass of wine after dinner.
The bar and the hotel manager handled a difference of opinion very well when a member of staff decided to pour what they thought was the correct amount of wine rather than the advertised amount, meaning that I initially ended up with half the advertised amount for which they still wanted to charge me the full amount! Thanks to their intervention, I got the correct amount, and indeed the bill was kindly waived.
But the room was noisy when the hotel aircon was switched on, it was like being in a wind tunnel as the pipe went through the corner of the room, so it was impossible to rest during the afternoon. As the hotel was fully booked, I was unable to change rooms; however the aircon was switched off overnight, so I did sleep well until the person next door got up at 0600. I am fairly sure they weren't being intentionally noisy, but I was woken up convinced someone was trying to get into my room, though it would appear they were only using their private bathroom!
Also, I am sure that this is not a normal occurrence, and would not have happened if it had been avoidable, but it was slightly surreal to be greeted on arrival by someone still bleeding from a head wound! I hope they have now recovered.
The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. I didn't have breakfast.
Good hotel, great location
SWallenbeckon 11/09/2016 12:35Nice and clean hotel, great bike arrangements for bikes. Location is perfect close to several great restaurants. Spa facilities are good, nothing extra ordinary but good. Breakfast was good, great service in reception.
