The town is within easy reach of the tranquil foothills of the Dolomites.
Good breakfast.
Heading either north or south from the hotel along the river is great for a scenic flat run or cycle ride.

Jon_the_Traveller_CAon 31/08/2017 06:13Overall a nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast featuring many local foods. The "top floor" room I selected was not readily clear from the website, but has zero windows but a large skylight that opens. It was very hot in the room well into the night with little ventilation other than a fan. The skylight provided limited privacy when open. And the ceiling sloped down making the effective use of the room much smaller. There were 2 stairs in the room to ascend to the bathroom (nighttime tripping hazard). Lack of attention to detail was bothersome, with no waste basket in the room, inconsistent housekeeping. But all that aside, it was a good hotel and my concerns stem mostly from the (bad) choice of room. There was also inconsistent WiFi throughout the hotel, but they appeared to be upgrading their hardware at that time.

BF Mon 02/01/2017 20:49Very good location and service. We had a stop for an hour or so and had a nice mealbefore we went on the raod again! We didnt see the rooms but the reataurant war really nice! We would gladly go there again!

The hotel is very nice even if quite old fashion (but this is its main traditional characters): very good and convenient location just at 100 m from the dome and from the city center.
Very good breakfast and quite nice sauna even if limited in space and in options; my room almost small but ok and surely well cleaned every day.

The room was comfortable and quiet and the location of the hotel was phenomenal...just steps away from the main square of this quiet, beautiful little town, next to a river, the booking came with a free pass to the local outdoor pool and a free Brixen card that gave access to all public transport (including cables cars) museums etc in the area. We used it a lot to travel to the starting points of the mountain hikes we did. The staff were super-helpful and friendly and the breakfast was phenomenal! I'd go again just for the breakfasts!
