This old hotel is situated on a busy main road in Clervaux and is close to the train station.
No golf at all!
The beautiful GC Clervaux is close to the village, but it's a five minute drive from this hotel.
Front side of the hotel=noisy street and trains.
Back side of the hotel=rocks.
Unfriendly "service".
Hotel, rooms, bath.... need renovation.
Restaurant isn't a good choice when visiting the nice medieval village of Clervaux.
Check all the reviews on TA and find out where to stay.

This is a unique hotel in the mountains of Clerveaux. We love coming here, the service is good, the atmosphere is relaxed. The furniture is outdated but we love it, it has a vintage feel, like you step back into the fifties. Not everyone can appreciate that, I'm sure, but we love it. Because everything is clean and well taken care of.
It's also a great spot from where to explore the beautiful area with hikes or roadtrips.
Pets are allowed. There is a small area for children with toys.
Nice breakfast, nothing fancy but fine.

Great hotel. You walk in there and it is like time has stopped. All is still as from the time the hotel was build. If you don't like the sixties do not go there as it is not a modern decoration. For us it had its charm. Room was very good, good bed, bathroom was nice but again just like in the sixties (reminded me my childhood!). One very important point: All was VERY CLEAN !!!! Nice balcony where you could sit in the evening. Although it is close to the railstation/railway you DO NOT hear it at all (good insulation). Very nice and friendly owner (a bit shy/quiet) in the beginning. Make sure in the morning you are one of the first ones to have breakfast as otherwise you get the croissants and baguettes from the day before as the fresh ones are immediately gone! Very good value for money. We would definitely go back there as it is in walking distance from the center of Clervaux. Nice big parking is also available.

The hotel is quite old fashioned but is clean and has all amenities. The family running the place is very helpful. Except for the busy road it is quiet and you can wake up to birds chirping. The breakfast is adequate but the dinner was extremely good. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night at this hotel. Reception was lukewarm, owner/manager not engaging with guests. While the rooms are dated and this is an old style hotel, we found the room and main lobby and restaurant to be very well maintained and clean. The bed and bedding were comfortable and breakfast of good quality. The price-quality ratio is adequate and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Upon the suggestion of the manager, we took the pathway across the train station to walk to town. That took less than 10 min. on a very pleasant path. Our room faced the parking lot and despite being by the railroad and on the road, it was very quiet at night.
