I had been in Bergamo before, and I knew that staying in the old city was the best thing. The hotel is perfectly located, the service is outstanding, the rooms and the entire hotel are very nicely decorated, it was all perfect.

Nice, kind of trendy hotel in a great location in Citta Alta in Bergamo. Not cheap. My room was good size as was the bathroom. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, Citta Alta is quite compact, including the lower town of Citta Bassa which is charming as well in a more modern way (that said it's a strenuous walk back up the hill). Left early the next morning so did not get to sample the breakfast.

We stayed at GombitHotel and was surprised at how nice this place was and roomy too.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as we needed train tickets for an overnight trip to Venice.
Breakfast was included and although a small hotel they provided a very nice breakfast.
It’s location is in the center of the upper part of the town and there were nice places to walk to.
One down side of having a quiet hotel, our room faced the street and with that you got the noise of the people leaving the bars and it got quite noisy until 2am. That being said, ask for a room away from the street.
They have a nice walk in shower and that was a nice surprise too.
I would definitely want to stay at the GombitHotel on my next trip to Bergamo.

We stayed in the Citta Alta area of Bergamo for two days to explore the history and restaurants.
The Gombit Hotel was ideally located even though it was a challenge to drive through the very narrow streets to reach it. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing me with a free parking pass that was needed assuming I could find parking. I was fortunate and found a no tow away zone about five minutes from the hotel.
The room was very modern but not large; air conditioning worked well and there was a very good shower.
My only concern was that it was close to the elevator and near the breakfast room, so while it was quiet it could have been better.
The breakfast, which was included in our rate, had a reasonable selection.
The hotel was ideally located; we were never far from anything.
I definitely recommend the Gombit.

The location is really right in the heart of the old city! Best location you can imagine! Super design and cool, with very nice rooms. Quite boutique. Very few rooms. Great view! Cute simple breakfast but quite authentic Italian style. very nice staff. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
