Hotel and services are really good. Rooms are large, comfortable, well-equipped and very clean. Internet connection worked just good. Staff was nice and helpful. Note: I was there on a business trip, so I cannot comment about connection to touristic attractions.

This hotel could not be better placed in respect to the views of the city, amazing views, if you are veggie please carry your food its difficult to find anything veggie here. else teh service is good, breakfast not that great but manageable.

Big rooms, clean, good breakfast for Westerners, comfy beds, a bit off the beaten path for sites but OK if you have a car. The staff spoke basic English, but were very attentive, nonetheless. We had no complaints, but nothing to praise, either.
The Walmart was pointed out as a place where we could buy "things," but since we needed nothing, we did not go there.

We had been in Dali for a couple of nights and got a bad case of food poisoning while staying in the old city area so looked for a more up market place to recover. The rooms were large, clean and the bed was very comfortable (most beds in China hotels are like sleeping on a wooden floor) so we appreciated this. The staff were not so friendly towards foreigners - we felt they avoided us as there understanding of English was limited (lucky we had a Chinese speaking person with us) Buffet breakfast was reasonable but more Chinese food then continental options. Check in time took ages to process which was frustrating when we were all so unwell.

Booked 3 rooms in total. The rooms were big and clean. The breakfast spread was decent and the staff were very helpful and friendly as well. Location is good with a walmart just downstairs. However, it is slightly far from all the attractions. There is just two main problems: Firstly, the connectivity in this hotel is horrible. Even standing next to the room's wifi router, it might not be able to connect. Secondly, the corridors are so dark. Apparently the lights do not turn on unless at night. However, the lights were not strong at night also, making it quite hard to see when you want to get to your room.
