We were sent to this hotel after a flight cancellation from Tivat. Nothing 'Grand' about this hotel. Our room was clean, bedding and towels were clean, and we had free toiletries. The balcony was really tiny, no furniture on it, door onto the balcony had no catch or lock on it, just swung open. There was a fridge in the room that was very dilapidated, as was the furniture in the room. No hairdryer, no air conditioning, but had a very strange array of ottoman type stools around one of the walls. Breakfast was a mish mash of food, from hot dog sausages, which some of the guests who had them, couldn't cut through the skin, to cake which was almost like a Black Forest gateau. On arrival we were given dinner, this was a very bland unappetising dish of mashed potato, breaded pork escalope, with a side salad of coleslaw and cucumber. Dessert was a banana. I realise it must have been difficult to try and cater for around 100 people at probably short notice, but they might have been better to have held their hands up and said they were not able to do it. It looked like the hotel had just opened purely to accommodate the stranded passengers....a fellow traveller referred to it as 'Bates's Motel'. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, all of which I would return to, this is the only one that I certainly wouldn't visit again. It is also miles from anywhere, the one consolation is that we didn't pay for it.

Have you ever seen the Shining? Like that, except with food so bad that you might actually consider eating cat vomit instead. A nightmarish brutalist leftover from Tito and Communism. It probably was grand 25 years ago now it is crumbling and probably a death trap. No fire exits or fire doors or fire extinguishers. Balconies on the rooms are too low; dangerously so for wee people. The rooms are not air conditioned are shabby, musty; bathrooms similarly shabby and ageing. We were dumped here by Easyjet when oir flight was cancelled. They kept our passports in pigeonholes behind the reception unsecured. Avoid at all costs.

Hotel rooms are big , but furniture and bathroom equipment are old. Hotel's furniture and bathrooms should be renovated as soon as possible. Hotel personnel is helpful.Breakkfast is a little bit weak. Hotel is far away from touristic city Budva. You must hire a taxi or rent a car to go there. There is no public transportation around.

Very badly maintained and serviced. Rooms stuffed, bathroom with old bath without curtain, one bed light, very old and bad tv - in short pick any other hotel!!!
It leaves an impression of traveling in time to the bad portions of the communist era.

When you stay in this hotel, you feel like going on a journey back in the 70's. The room is spacious and relatively clean, but extremely old fashioned. The main problem though is the terrible breakfast. The variety was very poor and we were all very dissatisfied.
