Second time staying here and just as good as the first time. Outstanding value for money and very comfortable room. Staff very friendly and helpful both at check in and restaurant. Room comfortable and excellent value. Restaurant has a great choice including wine, as to be expected in Burgundy. Close to the Basilica and canal, and in the heart of the beautiful old town. Building is a little old but charming. Great place both to stay and to eat.

Hotel de la Basilique is located right beside the Basilica and an old, but updated, building. If traveling with a large group, be forewarned that the bus cannot enter the street fronting it. The hotel sends a baggage van to take baggage to the hotel while the clients walk a short distance. When we were there, it rained and we all got wet. However, the quaintness of the hotel made up for it. There are a few steps to go up to the main lobby and an elevator to take you up to the rooms. As expected, the floor boards creak a little but it added character to the place. The bathrooms, however, were updated and spacious. The food was also good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Paray Le Monial.

Hotel de la Basilique is very good value for money .An hotel of two stars in an
old timer building stll very clean.The lady at the reception very polite. Breakfast
good enough for the price. So we went first days of sept. and we were so satisfied that instead of changing our itinerairy to see another place we went after almost twenty days at the same one.

Fantastic little hotel, the BEST location in town, you can walk everywhere. One of the best places to eat too, highly recommend!!. The size of the rooms are incredible, twice the size of normal rooms.

They have unusually big bath room which is very rare in Europe. Very basic and vintage hotel with nice windows.
Nice cosy interior lobby but not very big.
Good service offered by the hotel to ferry the luggages from the main rood when the bus is too big to drive to the hotel.
