Great Location in Tirrenia
Steve Pon 05/03/2017 19:11I was very comfortable during my stay at Peak Season. Yes the Hotel is old and could use some upgrades, but my rate was more than reasonable. Wi-Fi works so does the AC very important. If you are going to spend time in Tirrenia than you are in the perfect place. Walk to beach and restaurants. Bus or Car to Livorno or Pisa. Quiet at Night, Nice Pool and views. Restaurant is meh, but you should really be eating in the square which has several great places.

Rooms are big but cold, wifi is science fiction, electrical plugs are for american standards not european, no bed lights, bed blankets are old and looks dirty, fitness room does exist(?) but is not under operation...breakfast was disaster...no food at all cause Chinese guests take off (not eat) everything, no cups for coffe...this is service level of some down average hostel, not 4 stars hotel for sure- and in this context the price (arround 80 EUR for 3 bed room per night is way to high) ....if you dont wan't to be dissapointed - skip this hotel

Michele Fon 02/11/2016 13:59Not sure what to say here.....this hotel is utterly outdated...from the old bed that had very thin sheets and an old comforter cover to the TV that did not work in my room. There was no internet available on my floor and the electricity outage was the last straw for me. The breakfast choices were also dismal and coffee out of a machine only.
It appears that no money has been spent to refurbish this hotel in many years. It's in an amazing location but direly needs an update.
Do not recommend and will not stay here again!
Too many stars for service
j0zk0on 01/11/2016 15:42We stayed in Grand Hotel Golf for summer holiday. We used booking.com to book it and we stayed in studio. Room was huge with rather old furniture. Also bathroom was big compare to other hotels we visited. Balcony was also huge and and staying there over evenings makes our stay better. Promised wifi in the room was available only in entrance hall. Also hotel was mentioning that there is private beach - not mentioned that it is extra paid service. Luckily public free beach was very close to hotel service was well enough. Hotel swimming pool was very nice, large, clean and deep and had lots of fun there. Hotel is located rather further off the beach 400m but also from center. there was almost no noise from nightlife.

mickeycee29on 25/09/2016 17:52I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE unless comfort is not important. My stay was supposed to be for 4 nights. I suffered through one! The lobby was considerably outdated, no air conditioning and the only place to utilize Wi-Fi. The flies and mosquitoes made suffering through the heat maddening.
I made my reservation for a single room as I was traveling alone this trip. I was given an apartment style room that was up several flights of stairs without elevator access. My converter plugs did not work in theirs. The pillows and blanket were much worse than I have come to expect from my European travels.
As for dining in the restaurant, the food was mediocre, the menu limited and again flies, mosquitoes and limited A/C. I checked out the very next morning.
