..for a two night stay (with another couple) to visit Segesta and Enrice. Staff weren't particularly friendly or accommodating. Elevator not working. Patio and artwork pleasant and breakfast was good. Room was good size.

Good hotel but the rooms are a bit humid at mid season. The shower is also old fashion. You need to wait until the water get warm. The breakfast is good with mostly sweet cakes and croissants.
The swimming pool is nice and the bar as well with a beautiful view on the landscape and the see. The restaurant is basic better to join the village of Castellamare del Golfo.

Slightly boring hotel. Pictures of grand setting on sites to book are misleading. The hotel location is outside the city in a half industrial/half residential area. Room (205) needs refurbishing. Honestly Alcamo is not a the city to stay either. It is not far from Segesta, but there are alternatives to stay if you want to visit Segesta. Highlight 1 was the 30 min drive & 1h walk up the 900 m mountain at sunrise offering nature & steep sea and city views . Highlight 2 was the great hospitality from reception- very helpful proactive and excellent English spoken. The restaurant as well is nothing special. A 4 star hotel (why?) that does not have wine to choose from - the only red wine available was not from Sicily- clear room for improvement...

Stayed 2 nights. Convenient hotel after flying in to Palermo airport. Staff were really helpful and pleasant, particularly Giuliana. The hotel is very interesting - full of art. The price was very good. Would stay again, which tells you everything.

A very nice and old building. An old convent.
The hotel needs renovation. Every where you look something is missing.
The breakfast was very basic.
The bar was closed the half of the time. The same problem with the restaurant.
Beneath the hotel, you will find a very nice pizzarestaurant. Good food with good prices.
