Very nice hotel and staff are friendly. This hotel is not close to the city center so you will have to take a bus or taxi to get there. The hotel does provide free shuttle to the city center but does not provide return trip. Rooms are perfect and clean. Only thing they should have better meal choices in the restaurant. Overall good experience would definitely stay again.

No problems here. Nice, clean, comfortable hotel and room. I'd stay again. Walked downtown- probably 20 minute walk on sidewalks.
Good breakfast and cafe for lunch.
I took the gray line shuttle directly to the hotel from the airport.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff at front desk. Gretta spent so much time with us, helping us with tours & places to see. Room was spacious, clean & very nice. Breakfast was awesome, so much variety! We originally thought the buffet dinner was pricey but not for all the food you get. Excellent variety & very delicious. We realized what a good choice it was when the next night we went to one of the restaurants in town. We paid a lot more for dinner & did not get anywhere near the amount or selection.

Large hotel that seems to cater mostly for tour groups.
+Comfortable bed
+Good wifi
+Tea/coffee in room with kettle
+Iron in room
-Expensive with just basic amenities in room for the price
-Breakfast area is very busy (buffet style breakfast)
-Bathroom is wet room style so shower water goes everywhere. Bring your own shampoo
-Noise from road

Modern hotel on the outskirts of Reykjavik; free parking; short, easy drive to the city center; very comfortable rooms; excellent breakfast but restaurant sometimes noisy and crowded because of many tour groups; efficient and friendly staff.
